The board doesn't need.to be unanimous to act. The problem is they've got a well meaning idiot (Han'Gerrel), a dangerous hubris filled idiot (Daro'Xen), and a spineless diplomat (Shala'Raan), which would give them enough votes to go to war.

I'm going to choose the quarians if I can't secure peace, no question, but Raptor Jesus have mercy, I hope there's an option to punch out the three stooges who sent them to war.

In case an enemy gets too close? Why can shepard melee people? Why is it asking that much to see her do something with it? Possibly as a last resort? How stupid are you?

I am going to play as a quarian in mulitplayer....in fact that's probably what I'll roll once I unlock quarians in MP for a while............I'm also going to play as every other race in multiplayer

that doesn't make me a failure to our species


EDIT: (btw I don't mean to insinuate that people who play asari aren't "normal" people, I was just saying that the super stereotypical horny teen might rather play as a in-universe ****** fodder than not)

yes but we're not asking her to storm into a troop of mercs/geth, bushido'ing people with her knife like a samurai...

the kind of scene I imagine is something where she is incapacitated from the waist down or she got pounced (probably by a Husk or those things that are attacking Aria in the Invasion comic, Adjutant I think it's called?) and she has her shotgun knocked out of her hands or it ran out of ammo or something so she pulls it out and goes psycho with her boot knife in self-defense...

I'm just going to speak for myself and say that I would like to see her use it in a situation where she is kind of forced to use it. I guess that's what most people mean (or I could just be projecting my idea of her knife use on other people, I dunno)

It has more to do with the fact that you guys aren't applying occam's razor to it. Of course she can kill people with the knife, but that's not why she's got it with her in the first place.

Colossi are still op so you didnt say anything.

Also, no kidding that may not be the reason she has a knife, but shepard has an assault rifle thats intended to be ued to shoot people, in yet he uses it to hit the shadow broker. You are speaking as if a 2 base roach timing cant be used to counter a 1 base turtling protoss. It may not be the the best intended build, but it will catch your opponent off guard andd may work very well.

I think I am going to side with Arcian here. That knife looks like its for utility, and in any case omni blades (or whatever equivalent engineers have) would be much more efficient anyways.

we are not saying she needs to use it all the time. However using it as  a last resort at one point in the game would be interesting.

Oh no not Dynasty Warriors! Girls suck in that game I'm sorry when you need to take a FLUTE into battle its time to pack your bags and go home.....That's the worse game ever made they should hang their heads in  shame and bury that game next to ET!

But anyway back on point I think Tali could and should use her knife as a last ditch effort not all glorious Samurai style but the foe is there she's got an opening and she tries to gut them nothing fancy. Even using her knife to stop a fall kind of like how you'd use an ice pick when falling down hill on ice. Everyone on crew should be able to do something on an npc whose too close and they don't have time to reload.

OMG yes! I forgot about them Asari too. Yes...I can see them and female Quarians being the most played races in multiplayer, and the 2 races that the scrubs and lovesick teens will gravitate towards.

And ZenJestr, I have full confidence that you'll play a skilled, mature and dependable Quarian, who won't be a walking waste of medigels, or flood chat with squeals of 'keelah' and 'I got better I got you tee hee' everytime you headshot an enemy. And that makes you the minority.

5-member random co-operative matchup. When the server groups you with 3 female quarians and an asari. All of whom are soldiers. May as well disconnect coz' you'll be smothered by the first wave of enemies.
I take back what I said about Multiplayer. Its gonna be fun joining trainwreck teams for laughs.
