Given that my previous "SPOILER" tags were largely answered and discussed without further tags, and nobody got into a fit crying about being spoiled, I think I'll dispense with them, save maybe a short sentence of warning. Like this one...



I'd say that I hope this isn't the line for if you side with the Geth and she watches her entire race annihilated... But I'm pretty sure you shoot her in that case. *cringe* I'm pretty sure I read lines that sounded like she was gasping for dying breaths...


So if it *wasn't* that, then it *could* be if Shep dumps her... That was a lot of trust to break. Though, she may just start convincing herself she's Quarian and has too much baggage and that it's completely understandable he'd leave her, as that *is* like her.


Honestly, it might not sound too good, but the best place for that line that I can think of is if Shepard sacrifices himself/does the other very disturbing thing that would seperate them forever, to stop the Reapers.

For the moment, yes. She is a little busy when the whole quarian/geth conflict is escalating.

After it's all done, she'll join up.

What?

Maybe because ME3 is more fast-paced, without the feeling of leisurely zooming around the Galaxy mining planets and looking at anomalies? He might be referring to the Reaper War finishing soon. We *do* only get her near the end of the recruitments, it seems (RAGE).

Tali has a lot of dialogues in that script which connects her with plenty of missions, so don't worry.

Not really. Take it out on Bioware, not people who simply like the character...... Or dont assume everything is true? They are likely false and/or incomplete. Not to mention they could have been easily misinterpreted. I highly doubt Bioware would simply sideline a lot of fan favourites.

Well why not? Bioware had clearly stated that there would be smaller crew in ME3, which basically means that they need to prioritise who they are going to use more and who would be but in the sidelines.

And it's kind of obvious in that leak at least, that BW had prioritised characters and their role in ME3. Some are there and some are left for much smaller role.

I tend to take Tali with me.

(Of course, the ME2 cut-scene / gameplay disconnect of having everyone toting around an AR in the cutscenes got to me over time, so that eventually I modded the game to let everyone carry an AR as one of their two weapons -- Tali still gets her shotgun, for course -- so that helps a lot.)

For me, there's something good about the ones who were there from the beginning being there at the end.  Tali, Garrus... it still bugs me a bit that Liara, Wrex, and the VS got various degress of the shaft in ME2.  At least Liara and Wrex got moments in the sun... the VS got clobbered with the idiot stick...

The core squad consists of eight characters.

Tali, Garrus, Ashley, Kaidan, Liara, Vega and two other characters I won't reveal, since it'd be massive spoilers.

The other squadmates are jumping in to provide support from time to time.

I wouldn't worry about Tali being absent too much.

Ashley/Kaiden is really only one character, unless there's some real strangeness in ME3 we haven't been hit with yet...

We have to do the recruitments in a specific order? I had hoped that the game wouldn't be so linear, and we could hit Rannoch straight out of Mars (with Palaven immediately following, of course).

Seriously? Why are they limiting are recruitment orders again? It just feels so... unnecessary. I always hated that forced recruitment order in ME2.
