Was it bad?  No.  Silly maybe but, when taken out of context from ONE poster and then used as a rubber stamp for all Tali fans, IS bad.  Childish as well.
It is no worse than the myriad fanfictions written about each character.  I will let you make your own mind up on the fanfiction though.

Huh. Weird, but I've seen far more disturbing things here on the BSN, so I really don't see what the big deal was about this one.

Haters needing an outlet?

Going to be a lot more of that later. Not that I'll be upset...

Post the one about the breastmilk next.

Now that sounds bizarre. As well as nonsensical - you need to have children to give milk, and that's clearly not something that's going to happen with Tali.

Though I have never seen anything touching upon lactation, I would not be surprised.  Then again.  Rubberstamping all Tali admirers by saying 'People have....' is incorrect.  One, two or even a few might have discussed it but it does not reflect the entire Tali fanbase.

But it does appear that some others just can't accept an odd topic and continually use it to slant the views on an entire threads members.

Nobody's saying it does. Well, nobody here, anyways. I can't speak for the haters...<_<

Oh lighten up it's just funny.

We do know quarians nurse their young, by the way. Shala mentions it when she talks about Tali being in the bubble.

I can't even remember what was being discussed before.

Tali being in a bubble.

Another theory could be, maybe Quarian's regurgitate their food into the mouths of their infants like birds do. Sort of how they can share their immune system to boost their child's
Remember, Quarian's aren't mammals. Nursing might not mean breast-feeding. It could just be a neutral, all-encompasing term used to say how a species take's care of it's young.

EDIT: totp.
Team-Dextro shenanigans.

Why would they have breasts if not to feed their babies with?

Yeah sure. I wonder what those mounds on the women's chests are. I'm now going to imagine Tali vomiting in Shepard's mouth when they kiss.

Do
you know why breasts are attractive to humans? They indicate
fertility and that woman will be able to feed her young. They indicate
health. Otherwise they have no reason to be there, especially
year-round.

Vomit in the mouth though. I like it. Poor Shepard. Mordin should have warned him about that.

Also, FYI: breast milk is basically the same process. It is the mother digesting things for the baby and then providing it for them. That's why it is important that a mother eat healthy if her children are in the womb or still nursing.

Why do people completely ignore the information provided by official sources when dealing with the quarian race?
Quarians are a Rannoch born mammalian equivalent. This means they, for all intents and purposes, fulfill and duplicate the roles and functions of Earth born mammals. They give birth to live young. They breast feed their young. They are warm blooded.
On Earth, mammals also have hair or fur covering ranging anywhere from none for Whales/dolphins to almost complete coverage. To what degree, if any, hair/fur may play apart in quarian evolution, I cannot say. Though, as stated by Tali, that the quarians helped spread pollen on their world, hair or fur do seem to be a viable trait.
The fact that Tali states, in the game, that she wants Shepard to feel her skin indicates that she is not covered in chitin, scales, slime or mucus. This should be considered canon.
It is also stated, as well as visually confirmed in the game, that Tali's face looks very much like we humans.
The differences between a human and quarian for the most part are know. 3 fingered hands and feet. Curved shins, wider hips, smaller upper torso. These in themselves are enough to indicate alien. The nature of her skin is still unknown, is still up for conjecture. It can be anywhere from as smooth as silk to 60 grit sandpaper. It may be colored in any shade and be almost translucent or mottled as in a natural camouflage.
Another area still under debate is what quarian eyes look like. Are they luminecent? Do they function the same way as Earthly cats? Are the glowing eyes seen by us just due to cybernetic implants?
On the question of are they 'birds?', "fish?", "dinosaurs?", "duck?" The answer is no. They are mammal equivalents native to Rannoch.

Considering Rannoch's star is dimmer I don't think it is out of the question that quarian eyes might be "cat-like" by reflecting a lot of light and glowing.

But, but, but the snout! Okay, I'll settle for a Steven Tyler/Gelfing then.

Oh hi, you must be one of those new people who doesn't think there are Talifans outside of the BSN Tali threads.

Once again human featured do not rule out an alien looking tali. Drell are all but humans yet they are still sufficiently alien.

It's not that hard really, and I find those who simply draw a human or elf tali uncreative. There is so much you can do to change tali while working within what is seen from the place holder.
