I wont participate in anything having to do with Tali. I've never been so put off by a fanbase in my LIFE and i've seen alot of fcking moronic fanbases.

Isn't it pretty f*cking moronic by you to participate in this thread, then?

Yeah. Don't like it, fine, but showing that dislike in this manner is just sad, dude.

I mean, do you see me in the other character support threads doing what you're doing here? No, because if there's a character I don't like, I try to ignore and avoid them.

And since you aren't liking anything about this forum, I wonder why you're here at all if it's not to troll like you've blogged about.

Anyway, I like the blue color on Tali's AA suit. Brings out the white.

Guys I think we should stop replying to trolls, responding to their posts just feeds their amusement. As much as it amuses me to read troll attempts such as Zeel's its getting tiring.

Now back on topic, I always imagined Tali's skin color as greyish purple do not know why.

I picture quarians having a gray color scheme as opposed to the brown color scheme humans have.

I really don't want quarians to have beige skin because then they truly will be humans with 3 digits >__>...

I'm on the same side there.

Not too human and not too asari.

Gray is a pretty good color that's between those two and it'd fit, given the quarians' minimal exposure to sunlight.

Letting them be colorful would be a bit jarring for my taste.

Same here.

I think a very pale beige, or even white.

No way Quarians are purple.

And if she came out a purple space elf would people not like the charactor anymore? Seriously.

I don't believe anyone has said that at all, although if they did that is their prerogitive. If Tali turned out to be a space elf I would be dissapointed in bioware for being so lazy. They have already proven they can create creative alien designs that don't detract from their "human" personalities.

It would just be dissapointing to see bioware cop out and create space elves, one of the oldest cliche's for sci fi ever.

I'd like if she had some visible cybernetics.

Can't really blame them for not wanting to take away that cute little nose, tough.^_^

I support grey quarians as well, would be interesting with their colorful envirosuits and clothes they may like coloring these to complement their neutral toned skins.

So guys, just wondering but how much (if at all) would it influence you if Tali's face was revealed and she turned out to be ugly? Not Ugly Shepard ugly, just your regular level of ugly that you'll see sometimes while walking outside.

Its unlikely for her to be ugly. But if its happens we just have to keep the mask on or turn off the lights when romancing.

Given the amount of fanservice there already is in ME3, I'll be disbelieving if Tali's anything less than the hawtest girl in the game, alien or not. tbh.

but if she ugleh by da hooman standard dat alrite i lyke her back wen her face wuz jus da purple mask w/ 2 glowy spots in it so it al gud. butz i lyke da exoticnezz so i proly tink her perty eeder way n den we jus gon sit back get hella high on da amino-neutral bluntz n play sum galaxy uv fantasy tbh

it wouldn't change a thing. I didn't end up liking Tali for the hope that there is a goddess under the mask. I liked her for her.

Tbh I kind of hope she is a little ugly by human standards (not hideous but not gorgeous...just a notch below 'average')

If she DID end up being the festering excrement of Satan with diarrhea, I still wouldn't mind. SHE'S ALIEN. She's not supposed to be attractive to me. While I would prefer a quarian face that doesn't make me want to gouge my eyes out, I won't raze entire villages to the ground if she does turn out that way...

I wouldn't really care. My beef is with how human she might look, not judgment of whether she is attractive or not. I don't find miranda attractive at all (uncanny valley) but I like her.

Of course those who find her ugly could always pull a sampson I guess.

If she ended up being some space elf, would it be that big a deal? I mean I, and others raged when multiplayer was announced but got over it, and I can imagine some people would be disappointed about a space elf Tali but would probably get over it quite quickly.

posting here because the Liara thread has gone dead plus Tali is my 2nd favourite female in the ME-verse

I thought it was a shame her ME2 powers kinda sucked though, I ended up taking her long because I like her whereas I'd only really take Miranda along because she complements my playstyle when I was doing an insanity adept.

To me? Yes. Bioware has been... Changing for me quite some time now. Their games, their direction, their "feel" as it were... It is all quite worrying to me. Bioware creating a space elf by itself would be no big deal, but in conjuction with their general... changes lately, it would be another sign of bioware creativity waning, at least for me.

Would I get over it? Of course. If can get over old romances, If can get over lost family, I can get over the actual important things in life, and I can get over something as inconsequential as quarians being space elves.

Does that mean I shouldn't give bioware a hard time for being uncreative? They already have the asari, I consider that their one free pass for "human" aliens. All the others I am going to criticize heavily. Especially when it should be quite, if not "easy" than a challenge to be met,

If they spend so much time trying to make every human unique (just look at concept art for jack and miranda), can't they do the same to make an entire SPECIES unique?

This is kind of how I feel.  It's not creative, nor is it my first choice, but in the grand scheme of things, it's a relatively small detail to go wrong.

Is it just me, or does this thread fluctuate between most people accepting of a space elf Tali, to most adamantly against it, and from most wanting an extremely alien Tali, to most saying she's already confirmed as being too human for that?

It's like you guys work in shifts.

well DNI, like they said on men in black, a person is smart, people are dumb finicky animals. We're just in our finicky phase right now as a group, therefore we're allowed to be wishie washie....have yet to see a dumb phase so that's a good thing right?

And i agree space elves would be a "meh, alright i'll deal" reaction due to lack of creativity. Makes me glad i'm tryin to avoid forming a mental picture of what i want her face to look like under the mask...i've liked her personality since ME1, ME2 sealed the deal...ME3 will just be a bonus.

There is a lot of suspense on how quarians look, and it is something that has been building up over two games. Bioware have proven that they can make aliens look alien, while still being relatively attractive to the human eye.

I mean, look at Garrus and Thane. Two aliens that look alien, and are still very popular in terms of appearance. They got the balance right there.

I am in the camp where I don't want quarians to look like Night Elves. I would like to some creativity in their creation. Also, I think that if quarians looked human like and very attractive, then it would cheapen the relationship between Shepard and Tali.

For me, their relationship is based on loyalty and trust. It isn't a sexual attraction, and it isn't Shepard being shallow as he doesn't know what she looks like. If it turns out that Tali is a mega hot sex icon in the game, then I feel it would cheapen that relationship for me.

Not that I am saying that she should be ugly, just that there is a good balance. Like Garrus and Thane IMO.

Think of this... We say 'what if tali is ugly behind the mask?' but we are a different species to quarians as well. My point is are we attractive in quarians eyes? Or is tali just being nice to the commander.
