I only have the small litho, but it's still very nice. I was still pleased with it though because I thought it would be a little smaller.

     Hello BSN, and Tali'Zorah thread. Long-time lurker stopping in to
finally start posting things and chatting it up... for some reason. I've been
avoiding my involvement in the forums for a few months, since the Mass Effect
bug bit me again with renewed vigor. After much eye rolling and
wringing-of-hands I finally conceded so that maybe, just maybe, the agony of
the wait could be slightly assuaged. 



I've been watching
you, BSN, I've been watching you for so long....















   
 I'm surprised (?) at the amount of mud-slinging and venom-spewing that's
been going on. The my character is better than your
character this, and Bawww this game I haven't played yet is automatically awful
because I read a scrambled .txt leak file that. It's amazing that a
simple game cause so much rage and discontent. Everyone is willing to virtually
cut throats and verbally burn down buildings because of some lines of code,
sound effects and pretty pixelated images. This is truly the ugly side of how
you can pick out a good game from the rest of the chaff. There seems to be some
sane, rational people on the boards at least and (ironically due to the
pervasive stigma) some of them seem to post here in this thread often.



    As for Tali, I'd
have to say she's my favorite character of the series, along with Garrus. Well
written character, interesting background, motivations, and more D'AWW moments
than I've ever had in a videogame. I guess that's all the thread-relevant words
I can plonk down at the moment. I look forward to being stigmatized,
stereotyped, and lynched by other members of the opposing opinion in the near
future for being a "wretched Talimancer".








And someone needs
to put Marty Feldman's face into one of those "Tali reveal" pics. Old
joke, but still awesome. My photoshop skills are lacking.

I'd be happy with Unschuld's need being fulfilled, but Quole's is a must.

I suspect I'll be purchasing ME3 Tali items after the game's out. Not going to miss another opportunity for uber pretty artwork like the litho posted above! Even if my friends josh me for letting my Tali fanboyism show. XD

 That would be nice. I'm done collecting table clutter though, and can't see myself buying videogame posters anymore, even for the garage. 

 I DID get one of those N7 hoodies when ME2 came out, and still love it. Tried explaining to my significant other how awesome this game series is, and why she should get into it (or at the very least try), but she's not much of a gamer beyond playing Portal. *Sigh*

But hey, at least it's Portal (and hopefully Portal 2?). That there is some quality gaming. Good luck getting her to try Mass Effect. I'm currently prepping to introduce Mass Effect to my cousin/roommate when I've a bit of spare time. Said he's getting tired of Call of Duty.
Boy, do I have the game for him! And I will oh so subtly suggest he have at least one techie groundside on any given mission for decryption/bypass- who better than Tali?

Maybe that's a good Christmas idea, Portal 2. Then again, maybe the good Christmas idea is eyes pried open and tied to a chair, play ME1 until you start liking it. I jest.

At least I know that I have a few good friends to build my multiplayer team with.

I really dont want to play multiplayer... but if it will help me get the best playthrough, I may have to. Er.. when it really comes down to it, keeping some of the races (quarians, turians, ect..) safe as well as most my team alive. Mainly Tali.

Yeah, I rolled my eyes at the notion of multiplayer the first time I heard it as well, but if it is what they say then it has the potential to be a constructive distraction from the singleplayer campaign. Sounds fun to me so far. We'll see.

I couldn't agree more. That's why I'm hoping that I can choose my personal friends to be on my team and no one else. 

I am kind of hoping for a male quarian model though. They have nifty looking armor/suits.

Honestly I've got a feeling that the most annoying will be the Krogan, all of the Grunts and Wrexes that the failure Bro-crowd will be gravitating to because it's the "bad-ass" race.

Now I kind of want to play as a Prothean in MP...

Idiot teenagers always want whatever they can get the quickest, and they want everything that they can possibly have. If something is difficult to get, then the immature person would just give up because they don't think anything is worth a struggle at all.

The reason why Tali (and quarians in general) is so popular among idiot teenagers is because idiot teenagers always want what they can't (easily) have. They're also treating her mask like some kind of vault door leading into a treasury of unfathomable wealth, that they need to pry off with a crowbar and peek behind.

Asari, on the other hand, "get around". They're "easy prey", and there's no prestige in bagging easy prey (pun intended).

That's just harsh dude.
