No, the name is the same as your account name.

Alright, That's actually somewhat encouraging.

Don't see why we won't be able to play as a male quarian, though.

Oh, and I'll give Tali that pistol the Guardians are using if I can. Turns out that it's a shotgun/pistol hybrid. It's perfect for her. ^_^

Not sure what to think of this. The image my mind conjures isn't far from a pirate using a small blunderbuss.

All she needs next is a bandana and a redundant eye-patch.

Yaaarrr!:bandit:

Jack did say something about going the Normandy going pirate. I guess Shepard finally listened.

Aw, I thought I read a dev tweet or something where they said you could name them. Ah well.

Although I shall never play the MP portion, I am relieved to know that there will not be hundreds if not more Tali001, Tali002 and so on players.
Idiots already cause enough grief to our thread as is. They really don't need more ammo. (Or is that Thermal Clips?)

I wonder if Tali can handle the Graal.

This was the first thing to come to mind concerning firing a pistol/shotgun hybrid. All kidding aside... I can imagine one of those having quite the kick to it.

I'm a competent shooter, but the time I fired one of those .50AE's it was quite a shock. The .44 magnum from earlier that day had nearly no muzzle jump by comparison, and I had to maintain a very firm two-handed grip just to keep the gun from rising more than a foot. Granted, being mildly intoxicated at the time didn't help.

No, the Graal is the krogan shotgun they showed in the BioWare Pulse episode and it's basically a Claymore without the sucky range.

Though, I agree that guns and alcohol don't mix. :P

Same here my friend. It is a shock.  However, I'm sure when you shot the Desert Eagle, the weight had compensated for much of the recoil didn't it? Imagine if that was a revolver! That, and the extraction process goes back a ways, reducing the recoil even further.  Whew* Thank god for good engineering.  In all honesty, I'd never want to use a Desert Eagle in an actual Combat Scenario...too clumsy, heavy, and hard as hell to shoot.  Aside from being scary, it's pretty hard to get used to that damned thing. :/

Anyways....Tali...Rannoch. mmmm...Came up with this photo not too long ago...This is my imagining. :'D

Look at Shepard's stare in that pic. The focused eyes of a trained killer.

Yes, quarians have teeth.

Well that's convenient for me at least. My name at least sounds somewhat like a quarians.

Lol at the poll at the top. Its another trap. Stanley is asking for us to see *A* quarian, tali's option is at the bottom of the poll and only 19 people have chosen it.

That either means not many people want to see tali's face, or they didn't read through the poll very well and just clicked on the top option.

I bet they are gonna show her face. Why else will they bother with all these polls?

Well I voted yes because I'd like to see what other Quarians look like too. Or atleast 1 male along with Tali.

I picked the "a quarian's face option" because I don't think it should be exclusive to Tali. At the same time, showing a bunch quarians while keeping Tali a "masked unknown" doesn't seem to make sense as much as it would seem to be an intentional developer troll.

I can't see the purpose of keeping it all hidden anymore, because that's more of a tool for building anticipation and curiosity. It's the end of the trilogy, so there's no need for that sort of element anymore (even if the franchise extends to other games in the future).

I agree. Especially since in universe everybody with access to the extranet (or a library) can find out what a quarian looks like in a few minutes, and thats even if the quarians arn't a paragraph in the high school history books.

You'd think that there'd be plenty of Asari and Quarian art out there from before the Morning War, showing Quarians without suits.
