For example I don't usually take tali with me anywhere when I am on a "story" playthrough as she is not a main combat character and she is highly specialized in her skills. She is trained for combat within close quarters and is a great combat "engineer". However you don't really need her for tech usually as EDI can handle most tasks and there are several other characters more capable for combat while still having some technical skills like garrus.
When she wears the AA outfit she looks more combat capable and less fragile which allows me to excuse her extra use storwise. I do the same thing with miranda and others.

I would like that. I much prefer Tali looking actually armored.Troodon80 wrote...
I still have the texture I did a while ago. I can upload it if you want? It replaces the DLC texture, though I didn't bother trying to get rid of the visor, I just did it for that signature look.Calinstel wrote...
Thread did not die!
I for one was out shopping. I know, I know. Actually leaving the house for something as mundane as shopping but somethings just can't wait for the delivery truck.
That's how I saw the HUD in the Visor. Stupid and idiotic.
Also, as soon as I downloaded that appearance pack, I did exactly that. Imposed the old texture ontop of the new. AND got rid of the HUD.
Unfortunately, since rebuilding my system, I have not found it again so am stuck with what BW gave us. Tali still looks damned good in it but it's just true to her.

But like Troodon said, on the hood and the material across her hips and legs, the swirly patterns look better. So maybe a mixture?

The pic Troodon posted above has that mix. And it's one I rather like myself. It adds armor, where it should have been to begin with, and keeps her signature purple swirls.Tasha vas Nar Rayya wrote...
I actually really like her in her alternate appearance pack. I think that in the context of Mass Effect, that not only do all squadmates look more badass in armour, but it is also more appropriate.

Also, Runescapeguy9 has deleted his account... This is a sad day for this thread. Let him know that he is appreciated for his dedication to Tali, Tali pictures (especially that huge library of pictures he has collected from around the internet), and this thread. Please.

I think I'll miss the guy, he was one of the few that kept the Tali thread from crumbling... It's sort of sad to see him go...
Troodon, do you know why (if you can speak about it)? I ask because it's not the first person I "know" (using the term a bit loosely here) that deleted his/her account recently and I'm seriously beginning to wonder what's going on...
EDIT: Top Of Page...

Still, there's some disconcerting news going around, wouldn't hurt to let him know he is appreciated. Other than that, it's off topic, you would be better off trying to PM him yourself.
I love the use of the smilie at the end of such a serious comment. But I am much the same when it comes to ME3. I just want a glimmer, perhaps a still image, just something to keep us satiated. Pwease, BioWare ᴖᴥᴖ? Would you say no to such a poor innocent panda?Calinstel wrote...
Nope. BW is being cruel to their fanbase in that respect.

I tend to use the
I would be happy just seeing even some concept art or a still of all the characters together. Like from ME2.
ANYTHING to remind us that the game is not just Liara and Garrus.

Don't worry he'll be back. He's deleted his account 4 or 5 times over the last couple of years.

Yes, they did create a bunch of new characters in ME2 and stretched themselves rather thin, and to that end made it impossible to give every one of them a fair share of the limelight in the third game. I don't see that as a failure though, rather I see the alternative of fewer characters in ME2 as a detriment. The "problem" is that Bioware tends to make most of their characters, even the minor ones, into well fleshed out personalities that people love. What it all boils down to is that they had to choose who to represent the most in the culmination of the story arc, and what more logical choice to make than the few characters that have been there since the beginning, as well as being the most popular with fans. In that respect I see myself as lucky.

To be fair, BW is also in a pretty tough spot. They were chastised by fans last time around from letting their PR release TOO MUCH information on the characters and story. Now they're trying to be tight-lipped as possible, but at the same time appease the rabid fans (us) in order to maintain interest. I shouldn't even need to mention the massive backfire they had in this plan when the leak caused a diarrhea of information to spew out into the world before they even unbuttoned their pants.

Lol, yeah. I'd really like to see the character model too. At least in my head, I have hopes that there's reasoning behind the delay. A newly developed character model, with a slightly more detailed face being vaguely obscured beneath that faceplate, perhaps?
