Mazder has just shown some of us over at CZ another Tali interpretation from someone on Deviantart. The picture has to be shared over here, it's just amazing in my opinion.

*snip*

I say thats a reasonable concept, she does look human, though not perfectly human like the Asari and most tali fan concepts, the artist could learn a bit more from the Drell concept however

I'd be ok with it but the eyes just don't make any biological sense. Actual glowing eyes just wouldnt' be useful for actually seeing with.

Problem with using the drell concept as a reference is that it is just a human with reptilic features, it is hard to discern what features to use for a space-mammal.

well it IS alien biology, who says it has to make sense to Earth biology? we've know that the eyes have some sort of luminosity since ME1.

Obviously the quarians evolved luminescent eyes because they love reading in bed. Posted Image

The luminescence wouldn't have to aid in seeing anything. It could have various other applications or if nothing else cosmetic like a peacocks feathers.

Not that I care if the eyes glow either way.

Glowing eyes would make them easy prey from predators.  Conversely, it
wouild hamper a predator when attempting to sneak up on it's prey.
Evolutionally, neither choice makes sense.

I've seen many concepts and fanarts of her, this one imo is one of the best. I picture quarians with grey skin as well, not purple. I could just get lost staring into those eyes.

So when she is finally shown in ME3 and has perfect peach skin, we all can rage? lol

Would anyone else not be all that opposed if it's never revealed what she looks like under the mask? The mystery of it is kinda cool, and there's no way that what she looks like is going to make everyone happy.

Does anyone know for sure if Tali's look has been changed for mass effect 3?

Well, the devs have confirmed that there will be different outfits that gives the squadmates different stat bonuses, so there's a possibility.

Actually they said her looks were changed and that it was something they struggled with because her fans are fond of the way she looks.

There's no way the answer to this question is going to make everyone happy.

If they reveal Tali's face, inevitably half of the fan base won't be down with the way she was designed and half will. I can only imagine how crazy the forums will be after ME3 comes out.

Actually, I'm willing to believe about 90% of those who just happen to enjoy Tali as a character will be fully accepting of what BW comes up with.

Yes, but those who don't accept it will be the most vocal about it, so forum mayhem is inevitably the result. This happens both if they show her face (those who hate her looks will complain) and if they don't (those who wanted to see it will complain).

BioWare literally cannot win this one.

Yeah, but at this point, I would like just to have an idea so we see what the people who like it come up with for our other favorite Quarians.

Well, to be fair to the fans, BioWare really screwed up on this one.  ME2's LI scene was the perfect place to show her face.  Now, 2 years later, BioWare is the only one to blame for this fiasco.

That was BW trolling Tali's fans.

And I still stand by what I said.  BW caused the problem.  They need to fix it.
Reveal her face, accept whatever flames/love come their way and move on.
