Happy christmas lads!
Looking foward to hearing more info on Tali's role in ME3. Bioware seem to be holding it back in her case.

Does anyone know if we can expect a new trailer or update soon?

I would wait until January. I think that's the time when BioWare will begin the mass marketing of Mass Effect 3. It's going to be massive!Posted Image

Watch the quoting of images guys.

It reminds me of the other day, when I derailed a troll thread by posting a picture of Tali with Twilight Sparkle, and about 8 people quoted the image.

was it the one where she's riding a purple unicorn into battle?

I hope they know what they're doing.

If they reveal Tali's face, inevitably half of the fan base won't be down with the way she was designed and half will. I can only imagine how crazy the forums will be after ME3 comes out.

Heavy risk but there's going to be a backlash either way. Considering they don't reveal Talis face, Some fanse will complaine that they ended the series without showing it. It's kind of a. Lose, lose here.

I'm personally very curious about how much Tali will move around on the ship.

Yet that is still almost what always happens.

They just have to reveal Tali's face. There'll be an endless mass of QQ nerds for me to troll here (and more chances for S.A.K. to S.A.K. up to Bioware, via S.A.K. cradling).

It'll be just like giving Hello Kitty a mouth i.e. an expression. No longer will she look or feel the way YOU THINK.

It is indeed good knowing that you have absolutely nothing good to contribute with on this forum beyond being a utterly pathetic trolltard.

A loser who can't come up with a good argument without resorting to lame Tali waifu jokes because you're so incredibly sore in your ass because of your inability to tolerate Tali's and Garrus' existence in ME3, to the point where you were forced to create threads to display how much of whiny c*nt you really are.

Successful trolls don't identify themselves as trolls to the people they troll.

That's the thing, though.

He's never been successful. Just boring. Any kind of serious argument ends with him resorting to the incredibly overused and tiresome Tali waifu remarks, which only shows how much of a pea brain he really is.

You're just proving my point.

A point I like to point out over and over again. Why don't you go to your own thread and cry some more in there?

Maybe someone will feel sorry for you then.

It's so obvious that you're just mad because Tali and Garrus are permanent squadmates in ME3.

My opinion is that they should show her face, but not enirely, just a little part, so we can easily imagine her looks.

Prefer the whole enchalada and not just the sidedish.  :)
This really needs to end in ME3, this guessing and conjecturing on the quarian looks.  Show the faces of not just Tali but of at least a few others.  Males included.

I'd like if there are some more quarians with unique looks besides Tali.

Definitely!
I hope resources were enough to provide the quarians with actually different looks.  Not major, but small things, like medallions or jewelry.  If BW wants to portray them as gypsy's, go all the way.  :)

I was playing through ME1 again, and when talking about her father, Tali comments that she never saw him smile. Well, duh, he's wearing a mask, so of course you never saw him smile.

This is just further proof to me that it was not intended for the quarians to wear their suits on the fleet at the time that dialogue was written. I've brought this up before, and you guys sort of convinced me it wasn't the a retcon, but listening to those lines again, it sure feels like one. Tali says her mom died because of a virus "going around" due to some air filters breaking down; either a lot of quarians suffered simultaneous suit failure, or that line makes no sense whatsoever.

Tali does state that he never took the time off, sick time, to allow him to remove his mask in her presence so she could even see his face.

Now, having said that.  I firmly believe that in the beginning of the Migrant Fleet, the quarians did live without the masks in place, maybe even the suites.  But, after breakdowns started occuring, the suits and masks would have become the norm, just as we put on our clothes before leaving for work.  After so long, their suits are now their skin.  What they 'strip down to'.  They may wear additional protective gear, ceremonial robes or other additions but the suit never comes off now.  The mask is never removed.  Except of course during mating or, in a family environment, when they want to show each other their faces.  Rael never cared enough about Tali's needs to show her his.  That says alot about his character.

I still would have preferred the original design where Rael was alive and on trial instead of Tali. Would have had a better chance at talking with him and learning more about him than just having to base it all on knowledge of something so one-sided.

I would have liked to hear his part of the story and how he saw things and what really motivated him to take such drastic measures to either win or lose it all. Because I think Tali's side of the story isn't doing her father much justice. Makes him look like someone who was drawn between his work and his family and he simply picked the work so he could secure a future for his race while letting his family suffer for it.

I would have hoped there's more to the story behind Rael than that. Could have really expanded on his character instead of just giving us a father figure to hate, like with everyone else on the Normandy.

As for the suits, I think they had them long before the war because of their already then weak immune systems and simply put on more opaque masks to get a sense of privacy, since most quarian families' apartments are so small that the individuals weren't getting many things they could call their own that they didn't have to share so much.

Yeah, I would have preferred to have Rael actually there to explain his actions.  It would have been enjoyable dealing with him and his actions.  Then, the Aleria could have had even bigger impacts on the quarian race by forcing a real decision with what to do with the data.

Oh, I agree that they had the suits before hand.  But, they would have been used only offworld.  A type of spacesuit/exploration suit deal.  Used on worlds like Illium or the Citadel.  To the cloudy mask, I put forward the fact that Rannoch was a darker world.  The visors cloudiness was basically filling the roll of sunglasses to us humans.  After the Morning War and subsequent restrictions impossed by the Migrant Fleet with privacy, the visors retained their cloudiness.  Providing, in a sense, the privacy denied them through their living conditions.
