Guys unless you don't have to work for a living, have no qualms about sucking up to mods here and can spend 12 hours a day to post, just don't waste time with housewives like Someone with Mass, who's blessed with such...privileges.

I've lost count of the number of times she got logically and verbally owned in other threads and just had to get the last word in. It comes with her delusion that posting alot here makes your opinion correct and respected.

At least back then we had a couple of intelligent and articulate Talimancers. Now we're left with clearance sale junk like her.

It's funny that you think that being "respected" on the internet earns you anything or that it means something. Or that you think that the only place where I have access to the internet is my home. That's cute.

Just detect? Heck, my radar is going back and forth like no tomorrow. =]

Anybody else think this is a Tali/Shepard dialogue, btw? (it's not listed who exactly Shepard's talking to, but given the subject matter of "adapting" and "reaction", it sounds like Tali to me)

Hey.

Shepard: You okay?

My system has adapted. No more negative reaction to you anymore. That's how we survive.

Shepard: Is it how we survive? Adapting?

To a cold, or inter-species contact, yes. To the Reapers, no.

Shepard: We've lost so much already. Sometimes I...

You're doing the right thing. You've assembled the largest military force in history. Nobody could have done more. You don't know if what'll be left was worth the fight. I know. And when I feel that way, I reach for you.

Shepard: If this fails, the Reapers will wipe out every major military force in the galaxy in one battle.

We're not going to fail. And if you hadn't gathered all our forces together, we'd have all died separately.

Shepard: Thanks.

I've seen similar dialogues in the script that I'm sure belongs to Tali, so the chance is pretty big that there will be a piece like that in the game. It's pretty relevant to one of the endings to the conflict as well.

Yes, definitely. Even aside from the subject matter, the non-Shepard parts of that exchange include phrases Tali commonly uses, and I can very easily mentally "hear" her saying those lines.

Isn't that something that most Tali fan's have been saying since 2007? :P

Back before she was a confirmed romance, when all the haters/doubters were saying things like "You'd kill her!" I remember a common argument was to use the airlock. Not the most romantic setting, but I guess we didn't need it after all.

I like that Shepard is the one who needs to be comforted.

She spent 2 games telling us how dangerous and mortal it is to have just a finger exposed, and now she drinks a tea, kisses an alien, has sex with the alien, and walks just fine. I find it weird, or stupid. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah, but in ME3... if that happens in the third one, ok. But I was talking about ME2.

Bwuh? I haven't read the leaked script, so if that's an actual spoiler, please mark it as such- that's a reasonably significant plot point.

She got sick even after taking all that medicine and immuno busters. Anyway BW had to do it or they'll have to deal with an angry mob.

Aha, makes sense now. Although the idea of having tea and cake with Tali was kinda funny. Especially because I gave her an english accent to go with it. :D

But it was a little random, in ME1 (And for a good part of ME2.) Bioware made the very idea of a quarian outside their suit sound suicidal, then we discover all they need is a cocktail and some incentive and its fine. Not that I'm complaining, in the end we still got what we wanted.

Well, the quarian immune system is more made to adapt to the environment instead of fighting it.

Could just have been a matter of time, really.

Two words here: Anaphylactic shock.
That is about the only way that being with Shepard could have caused Tali's death.

Granted, the devs bent the rules concerning the quarians immune system but even the original explanation was weak. :)

The herbs could have been used to just reduce Tali's immune system's response so that an allergic reaction would be reduced.

Just as we humans 'normally' do not need to worry about diseases from other animals, the quarians would really only be susceptible to quarian (and to a lesser degree, turian, germs as both are dextro amino acid based). All levo bending germs would just irritate their systems.

Hmmm... I agree.

To clarify, I didn't say that she needs to die of an infection... just that "I have a flu and semen in my nose" was too... light (the flu part, of course :P)

True, but didn't she say that she wasn't gonna do that or something similar along those lines because for her, Shepard's the only one who gets inside her suit:lol:
