No, it's not that. You see, people are actually so dumb they just keep dickriding the quarians, thinking that they're awesome just because they don't have faces.

You don't even need to shoot a quarian to kill/incapacitate one. Just make a suit breach and they're screwed. Not even the vorcha have this problem.

You're still assuming that the quarians will be in the front where the bullets are flying. Guess why they're only available as Infiltrators and Engineers.

By the way, the vorcha have the problem of having their brains up their asses and being in the evolutionary dead zone.

Why don't you cry some more about the quarians being available in the MP to BioWare instead. I'm sure they'll give a damn.

And guess why there's something called 'countersniping'.

The vorcha are less fragile than quarians despite having their brains up their asses. I'm sure you're squealing with fanboy glee and jacking off to the prospect of becoming Tali in MP. Have your orgasmic fun. Oh God I'm gonna puke now. BRB.

Never mind the advanced training and experience one can achieve and have, no, base the skills of everyone on the biological appearance instead.

Dude I never said Quarians weren't badass in a fight. If you look exactly one page back I even give them props for being ideal for space strike-ops. But risk of infection makes them twice as likely to die. It would be a waste of resources.

Now I think someone said there can be one or two badass Quarian techs on the team in a support role. Sure why not, they might come in handy. But as an army or even just putting a Quarian one on one on the ground versus another race they will lose twice as much as anyone else.

He wasn't quoting you, so I'm not sure why you would think that you're being addressed.

And I don't think that anybody here is proposing having an entire quarian ground army fighting. If there was somebody, and I missed it, then they're wrong, simple as that.

To recap; in small numbers, quarians can be as capable as any other race, but they can't fight in a large group due to limited supplies of antibiotics and such.

That's what I'm trying to say; the quarians should be in a basement in a secure location, hacking stuff and running WikiLeaks: Space Edition. Not shooting anybody.

HA! would people even concentrate during the MP? I'd be distracted if everyone were in armor and I was running around in a latex fetish suit.

People managed to concentrate in ME2 when there was a character fighting in a catsuit and another wearing nothing above the waist but a strap-bra, so I wouldn't worry too much about that.

Nope, that wasn't Tali. She was the one trying to call it off, while *spoiler*Han'Gerrel insisted that they should keep up the attack. Legion's death is inevitable in either way.*spoiler*

SWM, you too are experiencing spoiler quote failure. You may want to correct that.

Edit: Ah, thank you.

*spoiler*Tali was hesitating a lot when confronted with the decision to stop the quarian assault. She effectively signed Legion's death warrant.*Spoiler end*

If we're going for physical prowess, I'd send in a squad of krogans instead, considering that they have the right strength and the ability to think strategically, unlike the vorcha.

Sadly, a battle can be more than brute strength.

Oh, and nobody will miss you if you're not in the multiplayer, so place your whiny comments someplace else.

Can we just end the fanwars already? This is all futile anyways.

EDIT: Ok, a "3rd to Top" pic, then. :pinched:

I'm all for that; I know I don't go into the Miranda thread looking to start a fight.

Here's another spoiler:

Legion dies regardless of what you do, so stop with your incredibly lame and weak attempts at placing blame and flame on Tali. I know you're just mad because something that you don't like is in the game. Boo-f*cking-hoo.*spoiler*

I've noticed.

Anyway, I'm hoping the Arc Pistol (a scaled down version of the Arc Projector) will be available to the whole squad. Can never have too much lightning.^_^

It is stated in the game several times that Quarians are not as fragile as everyone thinks. Tali even says as much in the lines "If a single suit breach could kill us, we would have gone extinct long ago".

During Tali's loyalty mission Kal'reeger mentions that most suit breaches are not fatal, and as long as they have antibiotics and other medicine at hand. He goes on to mention that this is generaly not a issue for small strike groups and small scale battles (like those that you would be in the multiplayer).

What is mentioned, which you brought up ealier, is that in Kal'Reeger does say that the immune system becomes a huge handycap when it comes to open war, particularly largeer scale and more prolonged battles. In this situation antibotics and such would be spread too thin and there would not be enough for all the wounded.

So yes, you are somewhat correct in that during a largeer conflict or war the Quarians would be at a dissadvantage when it came to their immune system. At the same time a Quarian would be no less fragile then any other race provided they have access to immunoboosters and antibiotics. ;)

Also, I have to diagree with your examples of how Quarians are not good at fighting. In the case of Haestorm they were completely outnumbered by the Geth, which I suspect a simular sized steam other humans or other races would be fair little better. The only reason Shepard is able to handle it is because welll...Shepard is a complete badass. As for the other examples, same deal. We only see that Shepard & Team > Quarian Stike Force. The problem with this is in general Shepard&Team > everyone else.

LOL @ SWM getting emo. Can't speak for Joe, but I know I wasn't picking a fight. I just thought this was the most appropriate thread to say that Quarians in MP is more or less contrived.

LMAO, Are you serious? "My cyber girlfriend is better than yours?" I wasn't even talking about Tali. Truth be told I like her better than her fans.

I was not specifically referring to you with that comment. That's why I edited it, because people would take it the wrong way.

Yeah, when I talked about people going into the thread looking for a fight I wasn't talking about you. You've been fairly civil in this discussion so far.

Anyway, it's less about today than it is about in general. The Tali thread gets trolled like no other character's.

SMW may need awhile to respond. He's probably desperately PMing a mod for help right now.

Quarians in MP would be excellent...to grief. No thermal clips or medigel for them, until they finish school. Which is never.
