Honestly it was probably just cut because bioware didn't want to put in work modeling a naked quarian for the ME1 styled sex scenes. :wizard:

I had to accept the fact that Tali is hetero and after so many playthroughs, it bothers me not at all.

Well... you are a heterosexual male, I think, the point is that you already have her. Homosexual and bisexual females who like Tali in that way are bothered.

You can't have everything.  Some characters are unromancable.  Some characters aren't gay/Bi.  I think it is just that simple. If we want to be realistic, then not everyone one the ship should want to have sex with everyone on the ship not hindered by the fact that they are the same sex.  Simple fact- not everyone is bi.  Your assuming that Tali is bi unless otherwise stated.  You are making an assumption.  And you know what they say about assumptions...

I could say the same about your assumption of Tali being heterosexual. And this is fiction, it's supposed to be escapism, what's the point of that if we bring realism and rejection to it.

Tali is my "canon" romance. I enjoyed it. Why can't others too? Because I'm male? Women need to play Commander Shepard of the opposite sex in order to romance Tali? It's stupid and it's not the same.

I repeat. Commander John Shepard, and Commander Jane Shepard are from different universes. In John's universe, Tali is hetero/bi. In Jane's universe, Tali is ******/bi.

Remember the way the news networks completely blew the sex scene in me1 way out of perportion? Let's have a threesome in me3 with two diffrent species and watch fox news after me3 releases.

Out of all the females Tali seems to be the one who is most attracted to him.

Also how many of you took tali on missions in ME2 even though you knew she wouldn't do to much good?

It is an escape into another universe.  Just as playing Bioshock might be.  Or any other game that focuses on story might be.  Characters don't have to bend to your will and whims.  Andrew Ryan isn't an Altruist just because an Altruist might want to see their ideal inacted in Rapture.  Just because it is an escape doesn't mean that you get unlimited control over a universe.  If the creators of a certain character didn't want that character to be a homosexua, then that character is not a homosexual, and your own impressions of what you WANT that character to be does not matter.  Because you are escaping into a world that THEY made, a world that is full of characters that THEY also made.  All you can do is live in their world- that is unless you want to make your own world to escape into.  Don't try to destroy a character just because you think everyone should ... 'enjoy' that character.  You say that women have to play a commander shepard of an opposite sex to romance Tali and yeah that is the truth.  And that terrible thing they must do to romance her doesn't bother me.  And it shouldn't bother you either.  It is who her character is.  I'm not crying that I can't romance Thane or Garrus without playing as a shepard of the opposite sex.  Your argument is invalid.

You want shepard to do everyting- and in doing so are willing to sacrifice the very characters we love to the degredation of your sexual pleasure.  You think everyone should be able to sleep with whoever they want to sleep with when in the end Tali as a character may just not be that into you.

And the Mass Effect universe is a singular universe with a single cannon story that only certain parts have yet been revealed.

And yeah I do naturally assume everyone Hetero until otherwise stated.  Because that is pretty much the default sexuality of humanity on Earth.  You know.  The planet where I assume the authors of the Mass Effect Universe live.

As often as it was possible; usually against geth, eclipse or blue suns (paired up with Zaeed or Thane usually)

Well yeh this is true. But recently I started to play on a higher difficulty and while those attributes normally help she always ends up getting downed pretty quick. Posted Image

I agree that she's a lot more useful than a lot of people give her credit for; however, she's clearly not as good against foes like the Blood Pack, as two of her three powers are useless.

Anyway, last playthrough I decided to take her on Mordin's loyalty mission despite that, and was pleased to find that she actually had some dialogue on that mission, which was surprising as a lot of squadmates don't. It was kind of like Thane's loyalty mission, where Tali or Garrus will comment on the Shepard VI, but nobody else will. More proof that the Dextros are the best squadmates, I guess.

Ah, there's the rub. Meathead has not appeared in ME1 or 2. The squad members and crew from the previous games are currently the only members of Shepard's crew I can care for.
Yes, I've read the 'spoilers' so please understand, the character of meathead, as portrayed in the leaks just rubs me the wrong way. In my military career, his actions would never have been approved or even tolerated. It remains to be seen, in ME3, if meathead graduates to being called Vega or spacefiller. Taking up space but never used.

Edit:  To keep this OT, I really do hope BW releases at least a pic if not a short vid of Tali and other characters.  Quickly.

I have agree, though i have no read the spoilers. I am a bit worried Vega will turn into Jacob 2.0 for me (person I never talked to and never used in combat)
