The only way I understand it, is if Shep is connected or something into the geth mind, and because he only knows how Tali looks like (the rest of the quarians are unknown), his mind just puts a helmet on everybody.

You know, I think its pretty obvious that they will show Talis face. Bioware knows people will be mad regardless, and allowing us to see what quarians look like would would help a lot in any future ME games.

Well I looked about twelve pages back looking for a topic to talk about and nothing I really want to revive. I appreciate bioware not releasing any spoiler information, especially after the spoiler fest which was the lead up to ME2, but I kinda wish they would give us a small nugget just to speculate about.

...Wait actually I kinda have a nugget. Although mind I have NOT read any tali spoilers yet, so if what I say is tied in the spoiler text somehow please keep it greyed out.
We know tali is probably going to be an admiral right? Well at first that upset me as it seems like a very bad choice and if the quarians are desperate enough to put tali in such a position of authority it seems they are in a very bad way. At least that is how it seemed. Thinking about it now I have an idea of how it could work.
What if instead of being an actual "admiral" leading ships and planning military action, she is actually more of a military liason between the quarian flotilla and shep's war effort? If she is given the authority of an admiral, but is attached to shep's battlegroup instead of actually commanding ships, she could use her authority to requisition military assets (and relay commands from whoever the leaders are in sheps war effort) to be used by shep while still allowing her to hand around shep as a usable squadmate.
This would make much more sense to me than just slapping tali up to an actual war leader and expecting her to lead a fleet when as far as we know she has no experience leading anything bigger than a single ship, which she may or may not have been driving.
What do you guys think?
