Actually, they made her a temporary admiral because of her knowledge about the geth (almost all their other experts died on the Alarei) and they needed someone to take her father's place.

It's pretty much just for show and they all know it. Plus, that's where Shep enters the picture and can get his/her word through.

Yeah, I wasn't too crazy about the whole admiral idea originally, but by having it be temporary and for a logical reason, they've managed to make it work.

I am writing a fan fic that covers all the Mass Effect events to date (as well as Shepard's history).  For the ME2 story, each squadmate gets their own chapter, following their journey through the ME2 story (up to the Omega4 Relay).  Usually these chapters take the form of Journal entries by Commander Shepard (female), but in the case of Tali I presented her Journal entries.  So it tells her story from Freedom Progress onwards from her viewpoint.

I wonder if there will be a side quest that discovers a way to greatly increase Quarian immune systems. It's rather unlikely, but you never know what they'll throw in. It would be somewhat interesting to see what Tali would think of something like that.

Hey Talimancers,

Look, this is going to be a bit off topic (kind of) and it may have been brought up before (apologies) but, I just got finished watching the Disney Mo-Cap movie Mars Needs Moms and…well, some of you might already know where I’m going with this, but, did Tali’s concept artist work on that film because, apparently, Quarians live on Mars. I’m serious. Remove a finger and it’s almost eerie.


I really wish I could post a full body image of not just the Martians from the film but of Ki (one of the main characters/love interests) but if someone wants to do that for those who haven’t seen the film everyone will know what I mean. So…anyone see this or is it just me?


Also, if Tali *did* end up looking like Ki am I the only one that would kinda be okay with that? I mean…I was *SPOILER!!!*  actually happy that the geeky fat guy (raises hand) hooks up with her at the end. She was pretty. Even her personality was a *bit* Tali-ish So, yeah…that’s all I’ve got. Thoughts?

No worries, honestly I'm just confused as they mentioned before that there would be modification of individual pieces of squad armor. Doesn't seem to apply. They also mentioned that her outfit would be changing...

I'm actually somewhat glad there isn't an update. There wasn't any reason to make her look any different. Her ME2 look was perfect. Ashley got changed because some thought she was too manish in ME1-ME2. Liara got an update to show how her life changed as she went on a mission of revenge, became the Shadow Broker, and so forth. Garrus became Batman. You get the idea. Tali just matured. That doesn't really require her to have some bright new look for ME3. I mean, that's just my opinion.
