To be fair, I'd probably blast him anyway; a traitor in the middle of a war is one of the last things I'd need. Keeping Tali as a romance would be a bonus at that point.

I'll be honest here. Tali wears a mask, she has weird feet and she's not really good in combat, but... I've always liked Tali. It's her insecure and sincere personality that makes her such a lovable character. She was the second female character I romanced in the game and it was totally worth it. She's really adorable and unique. So, yes, I'd like to see her again and if possible see her face as well.

Where do you read that Legion is a traitor?
He's refering to your comment that Tali isn't really good in combat, which is frankly flat-out wrong as far as I and others who use her during missions are concerned.pizu wrote...

^ This. (though I prefer having Area Energy Drain on her, lol)exelsis wrote...
Tali is one of the most useful squad members, and THE best for missions where all enemies are synthetic. Maybe you just don't use her right/have good synergy the way you play, but for me she is godlike. Geth plasma shotgun + heavy energy drain = wrecking ball.

I guess they are going for the "Protheans pollinated our ancestors in various planets across the Milky Way, and that's why there are similarities between species that evolved so distant, like Asari being basicaly blue female humans, hence Quarians are also similar to humans".

How I love that thing.

The geth are just toys created by quarians. Being a computer programmer that likes to deal with AI myself, I can say that even if they look/sound/act like real living beings, they are just a really well programmed software. They aren't even capable of much if there is only one program at a time. Legion is more than 1 thousand processes running. But, even if we took the same situation for our real lifes, having to choose between the life of the girl you love (and loves you too) or the life of one friend, I would kill my friend right away. No, I'm not kidding.

Back to Tali: I really hope BioWare shows her face, as I said a thousand times here on BSN. The thing Grunt said about Quarians being "not so soft" only makes my curiosity meter go sky high.
Yeah, her feets are weird... But, I remember when Bioware made that fanart competition, they used one with an unmasked Tali that looked very human. I guess they are going for the "Protheans pollinated our ancestors in various planets across the Milky Way, and that's why there are similarities between species that evolved so distant, like Asari being basicaly blue female humans, hence Quarians are also similar to humans". This is only my guess.

She'll be better in ME3 too, when the Talon pistol becomes available and other shotguns with their weapon mods.
I wonder what her new power is, though the script hints at a power called Decoy, which spawns smaller drones that hovers around the user and only attacks enemies that gets within a certain range.
Couldn't her ME3 version of Energy Drain now damage armor and barriers, or am I thinking of a different power/character's ability?Someone With Mass wrote...

Interesting. Will every charcter get a new ability?

Looks that way.
Garrus will get proximity mines as well as his loyalty power, AP ammo.
Same thing with Tali. She gets a new power and Energy Drain.
Her passive power seems to favor stronger shields and shorter recharge time as well. She can even give the whole squad a tech boost that lowers the cooldown of all the tech powers.

But, if she's better in combat in ME3, that'll just mean that Bioware is catering even moar to Tali fans!
I dunno, I found just about all the squad members in ME2 were extremely skilled in the art of wading out into the middle of a group of enemies and getting mown down in a hail of gunfire, leaving me to pick up the tab. In ME1, I had no problems at all once explosive bullets became available. Garrus had them in the spectre sniper rifle and Tali had them in the spectre shotgun. After that, they never died. The ultimate kill squad, that was.
Someone With Mass wrote...
That would probably depend on the fact that the ME2 squad was nothing but blank sheets of identical paper until you put some points in their passives.

Sounds like they are making Tali a lot more useful this time around. Should give the hates something to think about.
