*Ugh, more spoilers.
From what I gather from the script, Samantha Traynor is an Alliance Lieutenant Communication Specialist, one who loves to play chess, and steal Shepard's shower, and if you're a femshep, you can take one with her later. She also fufills Kelly's role to a degree, staying by the Galaxy map and updating you on messages and missions.
*End Spoilers*

So, she's a replacement for Kelly, if the latter got killed in ME2?
I believe Kelly gets killed even if she survived the Collectors; there's a dialogue about her being gunned down on the Citadel during a Cerberus coup.

Let's just say that there are... options.

I wonder if we will be given a peek into the living quarters/conditions aboard the Migrant Fleet. And before anyone laughs, I LOVE having more data about a race/species.

I'd mostly love to see more squad interaction... be it on the Normandy or elsewhere. Especially if it involves Tali.

Adding squad/ship banter is just voice resource and once recorded could be used a number of times but adds nothing to the visual effect in the game. Locations we have never seen before would add to it though. See the living quarters on the Tonbay/Rayya or Qwib Qwib would still allow squad banter but give the player even more information on the quarians and really bring home their plight. Showing quarian children playing in a ship instead of a field or playground also would have emotional impact.
Yes, I know that only those people who like the quarian race would benefit from these visuals but believe me when I say any time spent on Earth will be boring to me. This is a space game, with aliens and alien cultures. Show me more of that and not boring Earth.
Again, this as in most things, is just my opinion.

Well, I agree 110% on more squad action. It's funny, one of the best examples of this (in my opinion) was Ashley on Therum. "I think my eyeballs have dried out."I still get a smile when I hear her say that. ME2 was so... boring? during the runs. All there was do was shoot and spam the C key on the PC just to hear Tali and Garrus' voice saying 'I'm coming' ME2 felt so empty to me.

Complete agreement here. I feel the same with the romance options... why romance a boring human when you can do it with an alien!

If they make the squad interaction more like DA2, I'll be happy.Calinstel wrote...

Never played the DA series so I can't make any objective comparison myself, sorry.FsDxRAGE wrote...

I just know that ME2 was lacking in so many areas.
But, back to Tali!
I'm not looking for our LI to fawn all over Shepard. That is not the type of interaction or banter I want at all. What my post was to show was that banter does not mean that new locations must be left out of the game. I really do want to see more of the Migrant Fleet, and not just a command center.

She is cute alright. And quite strong and capable, even if she is a bit awkward and rambling at times. That is why she is so lovable. Question: Are the Tali-fans in this thread also Merril fans? There are.. some similarities...
Well I did romance her in DA2, but mostly due to lack of choice considering I found Isabella revolting. I found Merril far too naive to be respectable, and more of a caricature than a real character.

But if Merril is like Tali or has some sort of a resemblance, yeah.
