I usually pick the paragon one as well. Tali asked me to keep him alive so I complied. If you dont then theres a chance he will die during the fight, depending on how well you fight the geth.

Actually it entirely depends on how much he gets shot. Kal is like a regular squadmate when he helps, except he never moves and you cannot revive him with unity.

I think it would be cool if we get to chat with Raan again in 3 the bubble conversation was quite nice and seeing her and tali hugging it out was sweet. I'd wish we were able to have Kal Reager on the squad, even if only for a short time.
