I'm going to keep holding out hope that reason prevails and they don't show Tali's face. You fools calling for its reveal don't know how much you really don't want that.
Besides it will look cheap now seeing as the big reveal already happened for Shepard.

Acting?
Oh come on now. It's the truth. The fun is the mystery. Like Bigfoot, UFO's, or Lochness. The only way to avoid disappointing people is to keep her face hidden. The people who want to see her face can keep hoping and dreaming and so can the people who don't.
Mystery is a good thing. Less is more. Don't show the monster (or the cute alien in this case).

I'm pretty sure most of the reasons people like her have little/nothing to do with "mystery."Saphra Deden wrote...

Nothing to do with personality.I'm pretty sure most of the reasons people like her have little/nothing to do with "mystery."
Nu-uh.
Nope.
Not that, at all, ever.
*Cough.*
And that will still be cause for people to complain. BioWare can't win this one. However they do it, people are going to complain. You'll always have people who want Tali dead no matter what, you'll have those who don't want to see her face, those who would like to see her face but won't go into a fit of hysterics if it doesn't happen* and of course, you'll have the die-hard fans who do want to see her face. BioWare is between two lots of fans. If they don't reveal her face, people will complain, if they do, people will complain. Lose-Lose situation. The only thing they can hope to do is please the majority. Whichever that may be.The people who want to see her face can keep hoping and dreaming and so can the people who don't.
I say go for it if you feel like it, or don't, it's your choice to make BioWare.
* I'm one of these people. An honest opinion; I would like to see Tali's face, but as I've said before, I'm not going to complain if BioWare doesn't show us. I'll settle for personality, as is the reason why I liked Tali in the first place.

We'd love if you stop to pretend to know what we like or not of a character. You're not speaking of a third group of people, you're talking of us. Surely there are people who 'mance Tali only in hope to see her face, as others 'mance Miranda only because of her curves and Jack only because she goes aroung shirtless, but say me when it was the last time you've heard someone saying "Tali's cute, but all I care about her is finding out how she looks like under dat bucket."
But I guess you'll just answer with a "It doesn't matter that you don't say it. The miiiiiiiiistery was the thing who attracted you at the beggining, even if you don't realize iiiiiiiit!"
Well, cool story bro.

How about if you stop being so damned sensitive, how's that for an idea? Give it a try. You might surprise yourself. (that goes for all of you)
Jesus Christ. (Keelah, if you prefer)
I think the mystery is an important part of her character. It certainly says something more about her (and her fans) that she has a following despite never showing herself. I think revealing her face would spoil the mystery, it would spoil a key aspect of her character and her following. It'd be cheap, especially when ME2 has already seen the perfect reveal scene come and go.
Maybe not everyone cares, that's fine. If you care so little then you won't mind if her face is never revealed. After all, her face doesn't mean anything to you, right? You'd like her either way.

I'm perfectly fine. I'm not angry or what. Still, first we're "the foooools" because of our ideas, then the "sssssensitive ones" because we disagree with yours. It doesn't sound very fair. But I'll just drop the ball, agree that we disagree and move on. I'm not looking for other dumb virtual arguments, it's a thing that happens too much frequently in this SN.

Just because people don't mind whether BioWare does it or not, doesn't mean that if it is done they don't want to see it done well. If BioWare confirms that they have decided against the idea, then I'm certainly not going to fuss over it. But if they continue with the "well, we're still thinking about it" bit, then most will want to see it done well if it going to be done at all. Hence the discussion most of the time. After all, her face doesn't mean anything to you, right? You'd like her either way.

Actually I hadn't thought of that, that's a fair point.
If they did do a "reveal" they'd have to do it in a way that Shepard WONT be surprised (cause Talimanced Shep has already seen it).
..but having Shep go "Eh seen it" would cheapen the moment.
Because a warm, loving smile is cheaper than liquidation at the dollar store.

That warm, loving smile is going to lead to dinner. Dinner costs more than a dollar!

She better remove her helmet so she can eat cheaper, just-as-good solid foods, and stop taxing Shepard's Anti-Reaper Funds! He can upgrade her shotgun with the money! =3 And it'll make 'em both happy.

One things I like about a mystery is it finally being solved. Never knowing and speculating "what ifs" are some of the most annoying things for me to have to deal with in both the real world and fantasy. It'd be like watching Scooby-Doo and after they catch the bad guy they never reveal how they figured it out and just went to credits before unmasking the "Villian".
