Maybe just zapped a little bit. Then Tali would send him to clean the recycling scrubber's.

I wonder if somehow you can get a special outfit for Tali where you can see her face, I mean like a special reward for having Tali as your LI and beating ME3. Maybe some kind of cure for her condition so she doesn't have to have the suit would be cool.

With that said anyone else wonder if Bioware was taken by surprise at Tali fandom? I mean if you look at it from afar from the Comics, DLC, and just how things are if there was ever going to be a cannon Shepard, Liara seems like what they picked but I'm guessing that was going off of ME1 player choice. But tali easily equals if not at time surpasses Liara in support as LI. Wonder what they think about that.

Bioware probably never expected Tali to get anywhere near as popular as she became after ME2. Same with Garrus. They were pushing Thane and Miranda pretty hard as the new romances in ME2, so I imagine they were quite taken back by all the love team dextro got.Posted Image

By the way, I'm also aching for some sweet closure on Tali's story arc; both for her romance and her role in the Quarian/Geth plot. Seeing what happens to Tali, the Quarians and the Geth is what I'm looking forward to most in ME3.

Go Team Dextro!

Tali is a confirmed squad member. I also doubt that she would become an admiral. No offence to her, but she isn't leader material.

Agreed. She is a great team member but she doesn't have the ability to command very well.

We should get a deep romance with tali since they'll be facing the end of the galaxy together and see what's under the mask. Bioware should know about Tali's popularity!!

I prefer her where she is.

The adorable awesome in the adorable/awesome/badass combination that is Team Dextro.

I thought I read somewhere that they were surprised by the public's response to Tali and Garrus.

I'd like to see Shepard walk into engineering, catch Tali and Gabby leaning against a side rail, laughing at Ken being attacked by Chikktika, because of another off color remark made by Ken about his quarian boss.

Doesn't look like they got the message about huge sex appeal in video games, because we got Miranda Posted Image (Not that she doesn't have a character, to any fans, just the gratuitous ass scenes, her outfit, and such).

In fact I believe one of the reasons cited was that they didn't think anyone would want to romance a girl with chicken feet. Then of course the utterly Alien, ( but somehow sexy) garrus.

I think most people actually quite like the feet. More specifically the third toe, at least for some people. Myself included Posted Image.

Buddha did a short story on the third toe at one point.

Keep this thread up!! :)

But one thing that I reaely want in ME3, besides deeper romance, is new suits. If Ashley gets latex suit Tali need one too. Moreover it fits Tali much better because Tali is the tech girl so she has the good shields and doesnt need an armor like Ashley should need.

She already has the tight fitting suit, she just has other things outside it so it's not all in your face like Ashley/Miranda's.

Also I want a proper armoured suit for her, not light armour, but proper armour.
She needs that protection when using her shotgun at close range.

I get the feeling she was going to be a LI in ME1 but was cut like Garrus due to content limits on the game disc.

The "dextro" was made up as an excuse to justify their disinterest in becoming an LI in game and the "chicken feet" being the copout answer for the PR bioware guys.

I liked her character as both a quarian and a person, plus her suit being "snug in all the right places".

For Bioware to reveal Tali's face, there would need to be a sort of "flashback" scene to when Tali first took her mask off.

That seems a bit cheesy to me. I'd be fine with a romance scene where you get a conversation with Tali with her mask off. Well, more than fine... Posted Image

What I would truly like is if BW let's your LI, no matter who it is, actually show up in Shepard's quarters sometimes instead of having to call them.
And I too think a flashback would be odd. But, then again, it is just me opinion.

I really want to see Tali in action again.

The armored suit idea sounds very good too. Customization like that would be great.

Shepard already gets to use an atlas. Think Tali should stick with her own suit for now :wizard:

The Atlas is a good addition for Shepard, true.

Maybe we get an alternate suit with Colossus armor colors for sweet Tali, then?

I agree. I'd like to see Tali get more armor in the next game. Tali's AA was received fairly well after all, sans eyepiece.

Quarians are generally shorter and of slighter build than humans. Quarians have an endoskeleton, lips, teeth, and two eyes with eyelids and tear ducts. Their ears or ear analogues differ in a noticeable fashion from those of humans, with references made to "what [passes] for the quarian version of an ear".
well so they won't look like batarians or something(i hope) and I think taking back Rannoch will give a good opportunity show us talis face

I support N7 armor as Tali's AA!

Seriously now. More outfit variety is always welcome, and some kind of heavy covered suit, for an extra protection both makes sense and it would give a chance to see her with a different outfit without totally change her normal appearence.

I thought I read somewhere that they were surprised by the public's response to Tali and Garrus.

There was a video with one of the devs/producers talking about how their alien characters, specifically Tali, Wrex, and Garrus were surprisingly popular.
I get it. Beyond the fact that Kaiden and Ashley were both fairly boring archetypes in ME1 Tali, Wrex, and Garrus each had interesting perspectives, and while alien we understood them due to their "humanity". I think ME2 went a long way in building up Garrus and Tali quite well and I hope that continues in ME3.
I know in ME1 I almost always had Tali on my squad just for her skills. In ME 2 my Infiltrator basically relied on Tali using Chiktika to draw enemies out of hiding and keep the preoccpied while I lined up my shots. I'm looking forward to the new ways I can exploit Tali's skills. As an engineer of course!

Speaking of new things, The whole omniblade things is supposed to apply to all classes right? I wonder if that also includes companions? I would imagine thats something characters like Thane and Kasumi would excel at, but I wonder what Tali's melee attacks would look like.
