Quarians do indeed give live birth, or at least its hinted at. Tali and Raan talk about that during her loyalty mission. Once a quarian is born (from the wording assume live birth) they are put into little bubbles until they are old enough for a suit.

Its fascinating.

I just dont understand some people. Common sense is.... common sense, no?

It kinda makes you wonder if quarians give live birth or not. I figure since they're somewhat avian like turiens, the possibility of actually laying eggs is there. But then, they're also humanoid, so live birth seems more likely.

@ Kid Buu; I still wouldn't say I'm a troll. I mean, I like Tali just fine.
I just don't really take her hips into account because I feel like they're not a good reason to like or dislike a character. I'm not really sure what you're trying to say here.

sigh

1. if you read the lore you would know how ridiculous that first sentence is. ( though I assume you are joking/trolling anyway)
2. Her hips are a distinguishing and often aluring characteristic. I am confused on how you dont understand that. I am sure many people would like or dislike Tali regardless of her hips, thats just one thing about her. Not rocket science. Like MJ for example. She is known for the shameless ass camera angles. Though Im sure thats not why everyone likes/hates her.

Nope. Didn't read the lore. Was I supposed to?

Okay. So you're saying her hips are hot. I understand that. But I don't understand why you're defending them, lol.

If I were to guess, they probably give live birth but who knows.

I don't think we should know. After all, what has been seen cannot be unseen.

Could you imagine if they layed eggs.

Im explaining why people associate her with them. I then explained that thats likely not the reason people like/disliek her. So I replied to your question completely did I not?

Oh! I vaguely recall that. I haven't played ME2 in months.
Also I am a she.

IDK you seemed pretty defensive of her hips so I was just a little curious. I just assumed that was why you liked her. Y'know, because of her hips.

I posted a link. Not the actual image. There's a difference. I never forced anyone to look at it.
And Leonardo Da Vinci learned about the human body by dissecting corpse. Do you think he had a disturbed, sociopathic personality?

Leonardo Da Vinchi studied the human body from a mechanical viewpoint so he could better understand the form and function of the human being's body and did so to expand his personal knowledge as both an artist and a scientist.... you simply drew a picture of Tali with her head blown for shock value.... there is no comparison. <_<

(and next time you want to try and use Da Vinci as a comparison example, try not to do it with someone who did his art theses on him for his college courses...)

I seemed defensive because I was explaining something pretty straight forward. Interesting.

Anyway, I believe all this stupidity can be forgotten.

So Tali needs mods to her outfit in ME3. Not necessarily a new suit but new sections maybe.

Oh I'm sorry. I'll make a better comparison.
A girl, possibly 14-15, posts some Dragon Age fanart of the Ultimate Sacrifice and draws her dead warden. Is that disturbed and sociopathic? Not really. Oh but I guess it lacks the shock value and gore.
Let's try another.
Rocky Horror Picture Show. That has some shock value AND has some bloody deaths. Did the guy who wrote that have a disturbed/sociopathic personality? Nah, I don't think so.
What was that one Oscar film... Silence of the Lambs? Surely anyone who writes about cannibalism is disturbed and sociopathic.
Silent Hill? Written by sociopaths. Night of the Living Dead? Disturbed. Black Swan? Total creeps.

If I drew her as a zombie, would that make it better? If I added her head, would that be okay?
If I remember right, she can get a rocket to the face in the game. I don't see the problem here. :o

Anyway though...I see no reason why we have Tali so far but havent seen any updates to her suit. It obviously could be a placeholder but seeing as how they shown many squad mates so far, I am a little confused as to why. One can only assume they are waiting for an amazing reveal trailer. I called it.

Well, as I've said before, they've claimed that every squadmate will have multiple outfits. So even if she still has the same suit at last game, there will still be other options.

Indeed but it seems odd that they have shown little of Tali and even then have only shown her with the same suit. Then again, I guess Liara is wearing the same suit in most videos too.

They haven't shown much of Kaidan either, admittedly. It's been mostly Liara and Vega so far, with some Garrus and Ashley thrown in.

You tried, AV.

I really need to steal ME2 for the PC (Not actually steal, I see you looking at me SOPA.) so I can get in on this modding community. Things like this picture make me smile.

And not just  because its a backshot of Tali..... With those fun light-up fasteners.... And those curves.... :P

EDIT/SPOLIER?

To those of you who know, in the leaked script after retaking Rannoch, there's dialogue with Tali about building a house one the planet. "The living room window will be right... here." Which made me wonder; What would quarian architecture look like? From their suits, (Tali's especially.) they seem to be a fan of aesthetics, but Haestrom was largely stone work. Granted, Haestrom was a warzone, and formerly a scientific outpost.

*End possible spoilers.*

Difficult to say. Rannoch is very arid, but other than that isnt too different than Earth.

True, and she does have the concept of a "living room," which hints a vaguely human design style. Though that could be the writers tying in human concepts for the player.

Because rannoch is largely desert, I wonder what kind of materials there are? Prabably not a lot of wood lying around.

She has a line in ME2 about having to cannibalize their fleet; so I assume they would dismatle their ships and build out of that.

Edit: Oh, completely forgot about TotP there. We haven't done it in a few pages, because of all that's went on recently in this thread.<_< Anyway, here we are.

That sounds fun to me, actually. Only because I just pictured a quarian town made entirely out of ship hulls. Like a flower shop inside the bridge of a dismantled dreadnaught.

Nice pic, it reminds me of something about their language; those characters seem awfully big, and there's only a few of them seen in the game, not very many to fufill a full sentence. It makes me wonder if their language uses western characters or not.

I don't like those weird... fleshy... horn... spike... things she has on her had. What the **** are those supposed to be anyway? Weird fleshy **** on a head does not an alien make. That's Star Trek crap. Well, that fits Mass Effect but I still hate it.

I don't like this pic. Her eyes are too human.

I believe this was done before the artist had any knowledge of the lore so the ears are justified. Personally I like the `spikes.`
