I hope she can actually pick that up and kill people. I'd hate to see her dragging it on the ground.

don't worry, she makes Chiktikka carry it....

and she has a drone turret mount thing to use it so she doesn't fly backwards with the recoil...


although I'd imagine there'd be much more recoil if she were to use a Claymore or a Graal

see, that's the thing. When she fires the Claymore she aims in the opposite direction and Charges into enemies using its recoil. Claymores turn quarians into Vanguards of Destruction. and as a bonus, it shoots those in the opposite direction she's charging to cover both bases...

Ridiculous as the sentiment is indeed, you should probably not call attention to it. You will likely only bring a flame war down upon this thread, and I'd rather that none transpired.

You mean in terms of combat prowess, correct? I agree. That drone is incredibly useful.

I find her to be very successful against synthetic targets or targets with shielding. Armed with the plasma shotgun she's good for the firefight too.

And the combat drone, of course, is very nice.

@Saphra - yea as a squadmate, people tend to think she's useless...

in ME1 I always found her to be one of the best, given the context of the game (our enemies were like 80% synthetics). Plus she had the best shields in the game and since shotguns actually worked like shotguns, she didn't have to be in kissing distance to use it proficiently. Plus Sabotage was just too good.

in ME2, most of her faults are on ME2's shotgun mechanics. The spread on shotguns was ridiculous, to the point where the only mildly viable shotty out of non-DLC shotguns was the Scimitar, which was subsequently outclassed by the Geth Plasma Shotgun, making all shotgun using squaddies actually usable. Before I got the GPS, though, I always told her to just use the goddamn Carnifex because she'd try to snipe mercs with her goddamn Katana, missing them every time. Energy drain is really good and helps keep her alive, and Chiktikka is useful for obvious reasons (like turning Scions into docile targets)

Well then I guess it's a good thing that she can have other weapons now. If the shotgun mechanics aren't any better than ME2's, she could switch to a more efficient weapon. A win/win situation.

Tali and Ash never left my side in ME1, so it was very hard to choose between the two for LI in ME2 cant wait for ME3.

She's only viable on Insanity with the GPS (DLC) and the Heavy Drain evolution (+ 200 shields). Even then it's situational because she's only truly effective against synthetics.

Against Geth she's at the top of the list. For everything else, she's near the bottom.

I find she really shines on Hardcore and above where her drone is a life-saving and useful distraction and she gets a lot more use out of energy-drain.

Her drone is very versatile.

In ME1 Tali/Wrex was my favorite team.

YES. My sentiments exactly, for all of the above. Even better, she'll have all that and more in ME3. Here's hoping Wrex becomes a temporary squaddie and the Shotgun Wrecking Squad duo can get back together for one last romp.

yea I usually alternated between Team Dextro and Tali/Wrex....except on files where I was 'mancing anyone, then I included the LI for roleplaying reasons. I would switch out Tali if Ashley and Wrex if Kaidan or Liara.
