By the way, Miranda's passive bonus is so useless if you're anything else but a Soldier and don't have Energy Drain or Reave as bonus power, so I think I'll take Kasumi, Mordin, Tali and Garrus instead.

Those were the 4 squadmates I used the most too. It's too bad you couldn't use Legion until the end if you want the crew to survive, or I would have brought him a lot too.

Funny how all my favourite squadmates in ME2 were the techies.

I didn't do Call of the Elder Machines until well after ME2 was released, and it described ME1. Maybe I should use the same schedule for Call of the Elder Machines 2.

I think you can invite the other character to stay on the Normandy instead of that other character which normally takes this one's place.

Been on skyrim as well. But now I've got that feeling again so I just finished me1 and now started on 2 to get pumped for 3. I'm still dizzy from the mako. I'm so excited for march.

I tried playing skyrim, but it's just not doing anything for me.  I have been playing RE4 HD and crysis 1/2 and BF3, so hopefully they can keep me from going completely insane......hey is it march yet?????

This is one of the very few things that actually really chafes me about Bioware taking so much fan input to heart (normally a good thing). Because a bunch of hacks, yes hacks, couldn't learn how to drive the mako, one of my favorite elements of the game was removed and replaced with "lovely" planet scanning. I had no problem whatsoever getting that stout little thing to do anything I needed in game once I got used to the controls, and I had great fun exploring planets with it. Took just a few hours. The Hammerhead was a half-hearted attempt to blend planetory exploration into the game, which I applaude the effort, but was still terribly confined to mostly linear missions and didn't have nearly the same feel.

My rant done for the moment, I really need to get off my Skyrim-playing butt and finish my "canon" ME2 playthrough before March. I'm not putting the ME3 disc in the Xbox until I do. I plan to do a completionist playthrough just like ME1 (that was surely a trek in itself), and I haven't even gotten to Tali yet, let alone Horizon. Something tells me that with my current addiction and timeslot set aside for playtime I won't finish by the 6th, in which case I won't even be coming to the forums until I finish ME3. At least I'll try not to.

It's certainly not for everyone. My first home built PC was originally designed to run Oblivion, the "it" game at the time along with FEAR which I played for about 4 hours tops and gave up. Skyrim is what I wished Oblivion was; which iss a great story and an open ended world with immersive graphics. Oblivion sorely lacked the latter, with those ridiculous man-baby faces that everyone had. I just couldn't take it seriously. Skyrim has served its purpose to distract me from ME3 spoilers, but now I fear it's taking over...


On topic.... Tali; there's still no real visual coverage of her besides a couple screenshots that look like placeholders, and I'm looking forward to the surprise (change or no change).

There have been several. Typically they come out in favour of showing it.
