One of the issues Tali touches on in ME1, and in one of the novels, is the population on the flotilla and distribution of resources. Ship captains were apparently divided over whether the Admiralty should allow certain ships to go off on expeditions to acquire more resources - though in doing so the flotilla would have to give up some resources to sustain the long-term expeditions and the flotilla as a whole would be compromised due to a dent in ship numbers.

It would seem that I did not give fan art enough credit, it is certainly a good portion of the fuel that keeps this thread running.

I miss roving around on uncharted worlds. It needed refinement, not the axe.
Indeed. Hell some of my favorite memories involved combat that required me leaving the mako and using it as cover. A hail of fire from geth units and rockets exploding near me as my team desperately fought back....
Then that time fighting a running war on feros through the skyway, blasting through to safety.
Good times.
Although tali really shouted a lot back in ME1.

From what we've seen in-game, the only major divisive issue is politics. Mainly, whether or not they should fight the geth, try to stay on ships, try to find a new homeworld, or try to reclaim the geth. This is probably the only issue with which they can afford to be divided as any other unecessary division would endanger the fleet. The fool you should have eaten wrote...
To try to keep this thread at least somewhat Tali related despite my feelings on the mako, and its ugly little sibling, I have a question. Obviously the quarians cannot be discriminitory on a race basis, for many reasons (suits, practicality, etc... also we don't even know if they have various races of quarians), so what kinds of problems do they have with each other? I mean, there is no way that we are looking at some sort of Utopia, these people are stuck crammed on top of each other, surely there has to be some sort of conflict, or groupings beyond ships and such. Maybe a topic that Bioware never chose to engage, or maybe something that I missed, still, it is something that I do find curious.
We also need to remember we are talking about aliens here. While they obviously do have conflicts (tali's loyalty mission showed us that) we cannot assume they have the same values or reactions to stress and other stimuli that human's and other species have.
From what we have seen the quarians rarely have conflict amongst themselves, and if they do they rarely endanger the fleet. (I can only think of one example so far) All conflicts seem limited to stature and politics rather than any actually "conflict."
Of course we have barely seen anything about ANY race so assumptions are all we can do.
Speaking of which, random fun fact about turians. In times of war they hand out pamphlets to their civilian populations on how to make BOMBS that are effective against vehicles.

So hypothetically speaking say it is her: I don't like the anime long hair in 2 her hair max would only be to her shoulders and she has no bangs, and her skin is blue which I personally don't like because the Asari already have the blue skin thing covered already I was hoping for her to be purple or light grey. The other problem is she has no enviro suit was it retconned for the movie that Quarins maynot need their suits so long as they are in fighter ships, mechs, or other such places that could be vacuum sealed against the world?
I mean maybe I could live with some retconning for the movie because lets face it you now have to explain the ME world and all its species to people who watch TV or go to work 8 hours a day without making them feel like deers in headlights it's like trying to explain all the inner workings and relationships of all the characters in silent hill to a sports fan not happening for long and surly not holding their interest. Silent Hill did the game to movie right but from non gamers and non fans it was interesting to gammers and fans it was near perfect. I'm not holding my breath over if ME can do the same type of translation were all the sets, people, and actions occur nearly as portrayed as SH managed.

Has anyone seen the preview for ME the movie is the blue girl with the long hair suppose to be Tali and or a random Quarian? She's definitely not an Asari (if they got retconed to that it would suck), after that she could be a Roli but from what I heard they're birdmen so I'm thinking thats a Quarian or Tali.

Another thing, does anybody really know the state of Rannoch in an environmental sense? Most fanfics I've read say that the geth have rebuilt it or maintained it to some point. It just seems odd for how little, judging by Legion/admiral dialog, the geth actually think the Quarians would agree to peace, so why try to keep it around?

Rannoch is apparently in good/great shape if Legion is being truthful in ME2. He clearly explains how the Geth have been cleaning up Rannoch and maintaining it as "caretakers", apparently in the hope of returning it to the Quarians if they are ever able to jointly make peace.
