The Tali comic is coming up after Vega's?

Yeah, I'd like Garrus to have his comic soon as well.
I wonder if the comic will show Tali first encountering the geth, and show when she got the recording of Saren.

I hope they actually keep pilgrimage outfit the same in the comic for the pre-ME1 scenes. Would be frustrating if the art just gave her the Me2 outfit for no apparent reason (Genesis).
Oh wow, I never took a good look at that shot before....Cthulhu42 wrote...

Man, I love Tali, and one of my Shepards romanced her, but I really disagree with her about the geth. I think the quarians should have treated them with respect from the start, and my Shepard has made that opinion known. It will be interested to see where his romance with Tali goes in ME3 when they are opposed on such an important issue.

I find your comparison of Geth and toasters offensive. Toasters are much more useful than that.Nashiktal wrote...

If the situation was as simple as showing toasters respect the outcome would have been much different. I disagree with you.

Assuming Tali's face isn't going to be shown in ME3, it should be shown in the comic.
The whole galaxy knows what Quarians look like under the helm. Why not the player?

Honestly, I'd love to see a geth toaster. Maybe we'll see older Geth models stashed away somewhere on Rannoch when we go there.Nashiktal wrote...

I know you are being silly, but I have to point out that the geth probably literally served as toasters. Despite how they are shown, the geth were integrated into every aspect of the quarian's life. It wouldn't surprise me if there really were some geth toaster models.

Pretty much this.

Since BioWare stated "they made their decision whether to show us Quarian face or not" - it seems, if we were not to see their face at all, BioWare would just keep the topic dropped as always... and since they brought it up... it might imply we will either get a general view of their face or - if BioWare decided to go full-time with this - Tali's face without a mask.
I consider showing her face a good thing, but I understand those who say keeping it secret prevents a huge risk of fandom disappointment.
Less, than 35 days go folks... amazing we finally can see the game on the horizon!

Eh not too excited about the comic, but the fact patrick is writing has me interested. I just don't know if he can expand tali's horizon.
Any story about a non exiled quarian will almost inevitably tell a tale about the quarians as a whole more than the individual. Its just how quarians are, they don't have personal stories just tales of their species as a whole.
Take tali for example, her tale is a tale of her people. Whether that people is the quarian flotilla, or the normandy crew, she doesn't really have her own story. Even her special missions and task's all go straight back to the quarians as a whole, and then potentially the crew of the normandy.
However I have confidence in patrick, and maybe he can pull this off.

That's insulting. There is depth to her character across the two games that does not consist of being a walking codex. "It's just how quarians are," what the hell are you even talking about?

Talkong about revealing talis face. I' m hoping they show it. I'm aldo fine if they choose to only show a general view of quarians. I mean, in 2 you can clearly see talis nose snd eyes so im assuming she looks like a human in many ways. Actually i stumbled on some artwork.. Loved it, I'll post it here later if i have the time. ( cant on my iphone)
