Oh noes.
Why don't the quarians team up with the geth to fight the reapers and eventually coexist on the home world?

Yes, some could view Tali as being selfish in some situations, but she just cares for her people so much. ''We have to think of other people, always''. I mean, she would probably do anything for her people, even if she was exiled.

It's hard to discern her true opinion. On her loyalty mission I suggested the Paragon conversation option of 'trying to colonize a new world' and she freaked out and blabbered about touching flowers.
So I opted to say the Renegade 'I promise to get your homeworld' back and she started dismissing it because they needed generations to adapt or something.
WHADOO YOU WANT GURRL?!

Yeah, she cares so much that if she gets exiled she outright says she doesn't give a flying f-hoot if her people get killed in a war with the geth.
Tali is a spoiled brat.

Why is she spoiled? I mean, what would you do, if you had done as much for your people as tali has done. Then proceed to get exiled from your community.. I would be angry at first too, you know..

Honestly, though, if your entire species (or what is left of it) made you an outcast for someone else's mistakes (one could argue that she knew what she was doing, but in truth she didn't, not at the time. She even said she didn't know exactly why her father wanted the equipment), would you wish them well, happiness, and success? It would be akin to living in a country, being born there, being raised there, working there, being part of the community. Then one day, because of someone else's mistake, you're told to f-off, go to another country with no aid whatsoever, and never come back.Saphra Deden wrote...

I don't know about you or anyone else, but I probably wouldn't cheery about that.
I wouldn't say she's spoiled in that moment, so much as a mixture of anger and upset.
At least that is what is appears to me, though I've only exiled her once - and that savegame is long dead and gone. I vaguely recall the line you're talking about.

Stop right there! Tali's "entire species" did not do anything to her. A couple of politicians (I'm sorry, "Admirals") did.
Remember as well that this would be what Tali asked. Rael's last request was that she not get mixed up on this but daddy's reputation was too important to her so she got exiled. It's just further evidence that the only person she cares about is herself.
Rael didn't raise her very well. Oh I'm sure Tali thinks that she cares about the fleet, but I think that is just conditioning on Rael's part. If she ever stops and analyzes herself she'll realize how she actually feels.
It's all just further proof. First she gives no thought or consideration to all the people Rael got killed or all the people who widowed or orphaned. Then she cares nothing for all the people who may still yet die depending on what the Admiralty Board does. This despite her knowing what is going on behind the scenes and what the trial was really about.
Tali Tali Tali, it's all about Tali.
Frankly, the fleet deserves better than her so maybe it's for the best that she leave and never go back.

It's as good as. Everyone you pass in the hallways afterwards proclaim their dislike/dismay for Tali. Even the captain of the Rayya tells her to leave without so much as a "is it true...?"Saphra Deden wrote...

Yes, it was a couple of politicians, but as soon as they make up their mind, everyone follows that judgement.
She's exiled, no matter if it was one admiral, two, three, or a unanimous decision from the entire fleet. The end result is still the same: Tali has been exiled.

Umm or you could just get enough paragon points so that she doesn't get exiled OR ruin her father's name. Sounds like a sweet deal to me.

If you do it right, you don't even need Paragon or Renegade points. You can just talk to the admirals first, along with Kal and Veetor. If you do that, then you have the option to "Rally the crowd."MJ5 wrote...

What does Shepard actually say if you do that?
Personally I always go for the paragon option here, as I think it's actually a rather good paragon option and not one which requires Shepard to be God as many of the paragon options do. But showing the Admirals and the crowd how stupid they are acting in a trial clearly not about Tali seems to be a good option for me.
I assume that with [Rally The Crowd] a similar thing occurs?

Yeah, and a selfish harlot like Tali probably doesn't consider that Shala, Kal, and Veetor, and probably not EVERY quarian has turned on her. Or at the very least she recognizes that she caused this. She was the one who wanted responsibility, so she has no right to pissed at everyone over it.
She begged Shepard to let his happen.
Like I said before she needs to grow up. I feel worse for Prazza by the day.

Oh, you're more than correct with that - this is only noticeable if you select the "Rally the Crowd" option, though. But that's meta-gaming, which you apparently take a dim view of for some reason.Saphra Deden wrote...

No meta-gaming needed. Just talk to Kal, Gerrel, Shala, and Veetor.
