Whoa, this thread is still alive and running... I remember when I used to come on these boards every day when I was totally into ME2... how long has it been? A year or so?

I still have my save file, right out of the Arrival (it survived 2 formats and a fatal power failure). Sometimes I still check in on Tali, even though I'm not expecting anything different in the script.

Can't bother to read the whole thread but I can assume she'll be in the third installment... any other news? :P

She can wear Legion as a special type of power armor in the next game granted if you let the quarians kill off the geth.

This definitely suits her character, I'd say.

But she stayed and once again risked her life for others).

..what?

This. This! A thousand times this!
Just bad trolling, calling her selfish..

is that you singing? this is the greatest thing submitted on this thread in a very long time. good day to you madam, may your faucets be made of gold and run nothing but the finest wines in all of Europe.

Actually, that is my sister singing.  I wrote the lyrics, put the Quarian-esque vocal effect on her audio, and compiled and edited the video that goes with it.  Regardless, thank you SO much for the compliment!  I will certainly pass the kind words on to my sister.

A guy posted this on the old ME1&2 Tali forum. I have reposted it here, because it is a music video that he made about Tali, and it is really good!

Sorry, all!  I didn't realize that the ME1&2 Tali thread was 'moldy' when I posted this yesterday.

As fellow Tali fans, I'm sure you'll really get a kick out of my parody video.  Please, check it out!

Thanks!!

MASSIVE PROPS.

Yeah, that couldn't have anything to do with her pilgrimage or the fact that Shepard just saved her life and she has no where else to turn, right?

She should have taken it to the human embassy in the first place. Instead she was after money.

> Works on the Normandy SR1 so hard that the other engineers and technicians feel that they're being upstaged. The Normandy. A ship that is not part of the Flotilla. And she's helping out.

What does that prove? Being selfish doesn't mean you can't work hard and be good at your job.

> Repeatedly risks her life to help Shepard in battle, all the while he's working for a 'terrorist' organisation. Knowing that in doing so, her reputation may be soiled.

All in the name of love. She has no brain.

> Is willing to work with Legion and put her personal feelings aside.

Again, love. Not really in her best interests to just blast Legion on her own intiative anyway. I never said Tali was unreasonable.

Tali is brave, but when it comes to what she wants out of life and the people who are important to her she is very selfish.

Massive props. Tell your sister that she is a great singer! And the lyrics are really good. Listening that just put a big smile on my face, thanks :)

1. It proves that she was willing to put time aside from her Pilgrimage to help other people and possibly earn something in the process.

2. Same can be said for everyone that are so gullible that they believe the propaganda Cerberus is constantly shoving down their throats.

3. How has love anything to do with it? She's simply willing to ignore her own opinion on the geth to help Shepard and the rest.

It is PART of her pilgrimage.

"What does it say about me if I turn my back on this!"

She's in it for glory. How noble. :(

The same love that allowed her to join with one of the Fleet's most recent enemies. Girl has no sense.

What's that supposed to mean? She does the same even if you are playing femshep.

Okay, one, that's not glory, it's too good of an opportunity to pass up, because it might turn out to give her something to take back to the fleet, which is also a part of her Pilgrimage. Not to mention that it was an opportunity for her to get away from the Citadel and Saren's assassins. Anyone in her place would have made the same choice. In return, she can help the crew aboard the Normandy, which she did, according to engineer Adams and several mission logs where she and the crew went down to several planets' surfaces to retreive certain items.

If she's selfish, even if she did all that, then the rest of the alien crew is more than selfish. They'd be self-centered.

Two, she clearly says that she works for Shepard and not Cerberus. As Garrus, Samara, Jack and Legion did. Or are they "blinded by the love for Shepard" as well?

So it is glory and it is something she needs. Not exactly selfless.

Maybe, but this isn't about them.

I'm not working for Cerberus, I'm just working for Cerberus.

ME1 is a quality game. In my view, it is better than ME2! You actually feel more of a commander of a starship than you do in ME2 because you physically have to walk on and off the ship all the time, thus making it more realistic.

I am currenly playing through ME1 myself at the moment, so I can remind myself of the story and see the relationship with Tali grow. Hopefully, I will be able to complete that and ME2 in time for when ME3 comes out.

Enjoy your vacation week, Olvaha!

Yeah, it's Liara and Vega. Whom I both quite like, but still, I'd rather have some Dextro in the demo.

I thought it was Liara and Garrus (at least, based on the recent demo footage I saw)

I'd heard they changed it to Vega recently; makes sense, what with all the exposure they've been trying to give him. Can't remember where I saw this though.
