Yeah I wish there was a sort of friendship thing you could do with people like jack, because I want her to drop her annoying attitude but you can't unless you romance her, which my Shep would never.

I agree completely. I would love to walk by without her cussing her head off at me, and I would never romance Jack.

Well, I have seen a bunch of "just friends" options in the script, so there's a high probability.

If they did put it in, I do have to wonder if she'd be available to both genders. Not that it makes any difference to me, but I'm curious all the same.

The context in which the lines are point to male Shepard only.
Possible they changed something, though.

Why would it? This would mean that they have less to fear about the hookup (if they ever did in the first place) because you have another chance to romance Tali anyway.

I really hope for this second chance , me3 can be a good point to continue but also start with a new romance with Tali , according with the leak .
And it also make more believable the Tali/Garrus thing too , if you reject them 2 times , well , they have all the reason for move on and never look behind ,but if you pick no LI in ME2 , well , it's right to give a last chance with them ,since both Liara and the VS have it .

Well retake her homeworld just to make possible for Garrus to build that house for her , well , he isn't in my duty achievements . 
And that's why, on my first not-Talimance import on ME3, i will make sure that Garrus isn't around

I just wanted to say IMO,it doesn't make much sense for the Migrant Fleet to split.
As the Quarian ppl do not believe in exile,death sentence or long term imprisonment.
They want to survive as a race,yes they may be divided politically and have a disagreement,but not divided as a whole. As it would hurt there chance to survive as a race.

You have enough enemies and problems as it is. Why create more problems & enemies by turning on your own people, over a few Quarians bad decisions?

I agree it doesn't make much sense unless that incident was the "boiling point" to a disagreement that has been active for quite some time. Over both games you hear nothing about the quarians divided over how the geth situation should be handled. Tali has said thou a few times how the quarians as a whole are like family, who look out for each other.
