Kudos to any fan artist that actually makes Tali look like the alien that she is, rather than a three-fingered human. Well done!

I agree about baldness, but only because we already have enough plain headed aliens.
I agree that bald aliens have been done to death. Hair runs the risk of making a character look too human though, which is why I think the Asari were never given hair. If I were Bioware I'd give Tali and the Quarians a mane full of feathers. Feathers originally evolved to perform the same biological function as hair, and wasn't yet associated with flight.

She's still pretty cute like that anyway. I wouldn't have a problem with this as it's alien and attractive. Just so long as she's attractive. You can tell that she is attractive through the mask right? Right???

No qualms about quality of the art itself, but she really doesn't look that much alien there.Kudos to any fan artist that actually makes Tali look like the alien that she is, rather than a three-fingered human. Well done!
Tali and Garrus romance each other if you don't romance one or the other. That's all.But but but, I thought it was established that ME2 LIs would be continued in ME3 and not just drop like fruit flies. Yeah it is! So far as competing...in the script, not really. Ashley makes some catty remarks (as she did in the Liara confrontation in ME1, come to think) about Miranda/Jack but that's about it. I saw no competing, just "I'm here if you decide to stay/get back with me." So no fights, thank god.

Actually, its pretty easy to avoid romance with her. Just talk to her normally to the point where you could ask questions about her past. Pick two options max and exit dialogue. She'll be like "Whatever shep." Doesn't cuss at you afterwards. And why wouldn't you romance Jack in at least one playthrough? Imo, she has some of the best romance dialogue in the game.XenoAlbedo wrote...
I agree completely. I would love to walk by without her cussing her head off at me, and I would never romance Jack.hand-o_death547 wrote...
Yeah I wish there was a sort of friendship thing you could do with people like jack, because I want her to drop her annoying attitude but you can't unless you romance her, which my Shep would never.

I actually feel like I have to change what I want to Thane with mshep more then Jack w/ either shep for some reason I can pass her off as being confused when she says you want me fshep? because of her past and with Thane I got the he's going to ask mshep eventually if he likes him if I keep pressing para because shep was being very nice and people who have hard times like Thane usually interpret very nice with they must REALLY LIKE me!

they are only similar in being Dextro DNAschemata wrote...
Love that picture but simply because it exists doesnt that kinda mean theres no way itll turn out like that? Im almost thinking they wont show her face, or any quarian for that matter. Kind of an easy way out. I know they look remotely human because you can get a feel for her facial structure through the mask. At the same time arent there DNA, and turians DNA very similiar? So shouldnt they almost like like each other in a way?

Quarians and Turians are both dextro-protein based species, but that doesn't mean they would look alike. They evolved on different worlds and have no relation to each other. Humans and dogs for example look nothing alike, but are both levo protein based species, and we evolved on the same world & have a common ancestor.
As for Quarian bone structure...
While it is true that the Quarians have a vaguely humanoid face, that doesn't necessarily mean they are very human in appearance. Consider that Thane also has two eyes, a nose, a mouth, and similar facial bone structure as a human. Yet he looks much more alien than that Tali fanart. In fact *if* Bioware ever reveals the Quarians I think Thane would be a good template for them. Not that the Quarians should look like Thane or even be reptilian, but that the Drell represent a species that sort of equally combines alien & human features. The Drell aren't quite as alien looking as the Krogan or the Salarians and aren't quite as human looking as the Asari. I think that middle ground is what Bioware should aim for with the Quarians.

I don't want Tali to look like a half-dissected frog. ffs why is everyone so opposed to making her look attractive?

I didn't say I wanted her to look like a Drell. What I said was that the Drell were an example of species that is an equal combination of human and alien features, and as such are sort of a middle ground between the more alien-looking Krogan and the more human-looking Asari. In designing the Quarians Bioware should aim for the middle ground as well, as they did when designing the Drell.
I'm not opposed to Tali 'looking attractive,' I'm just opposed to her being something like the three fingered human pictured below:

Honestly if people want a LI for their Shepard that looks practically human (like the image above), why choose Tali? That is what Miranda and Ashley are for. Tali is an alien.
