Hmm. Does anyone know where that pic is from?
I am not %100 sure as to the entire process, but I know that Tali, in that picture, is not rendered in ME2's engine. She's being rendered in a 3D modeling/animation program, with the standing stripper animation. As for how it was inserted, either a very good Chroma Key or the program allowed for animated 2D backgrounds to be inserted in a model. If the latter is true, the creator took a video of the Cabin, made it into a .gif, and inserted it.
Edit: It was rendered in the same program that rendered this image:

This sucks! I mean, she's dancing to 135 (give or take 1 bpm. Yes, I measured) bpm music. I mean, seriously? What good song is at 135bpm?
128bm ftw.
joking...

It's how fast she's dancing.Amieera wrote...

She swings her
Dance music is generally 128bpm.
Essentially, whatever song she is dancing to has 135 beats for every minute of time. I was making a somewhat opinionated joke by implying that the image sucks because all the good dance music (That I listen to at least) is at 128 bpm.
I noticed this because the music I'm listening to seemed to almost match up perfectly with her, but after a couple seconds it started to de-synchronize.

That's interesting. Yeah now that you mention it, it does look different from the ME2 render. Any idea as to its source? Might as well ask there how they did it right?Spartanburger wrote...

I'm fairly certain that a member of Clan Zorah made it. Not sure who though.CrutchCricket wrote...

Panda (Troodon) or JeanLuc, before he left, most likely. I remember asking for the lighting to be changed in that render, back in the day.

Why are you trying to sabotage the thread?Amieera wrote...
Oh god, not you again, why do you keep coming in here?
This is one of the few character threads I browse because I know Saphra participates and creates interesting discussion. Take him away and it'll descend into pic spamming and less-than-threes.

But the only thing Saphra contributes is negativity. How is that productive?GodWood wrote...

Nah, Saphra can be very opinionated, and often has very different views compared to the general concensus (the "negativity"), but he does add interesting food for thought at times. This isn't a universal "praise Tali" thread after all.
But back on Tali-speak: Just under a month to go, and I'm happy to say I've managed to avoid the leaked material aside from a few bits posted in this thread. Said bits greatly add to my anticipation of Tali getting back into the fray together with Book Shepard and co. Highly valuable member of the team (and more) she is.

I recognize the dance. But how did you mod this? Or where'd you get it and how'd they do it?
that gif is ancient, it's secrets long burried in tali threads of old.

If you fully appreciate Tali as a three-dimensional character then you'll be able to see her bad side.
Worshipping the ground she walks on and praising her ceaselessly isn't something to be proud of.
I like the Illusive Man as a character, but I can criticize him too.
Tali has good traits. She generally means well, but as I've pointed out she has some negative tendencies too.

As annoying and venomous as it can be at times, I'd have to admit that Saphra's occasional opinion dumps do make this thread more interesting instead of the regular rehash of the same exact topics. That last post makes it sound more balanced than the usual arguments are, though. Usually it's extremely negative.Amieera wrote...

Someone has to play the villain and me talking about Tali's good traits is a little redundant because that's mostly all anybody talks about anyway.

I can see the truth in that. I do think the character's positive traits outweigh the few negatives that you usually mention, however. I think what most people here see when you post is that you're just another person who hates the character out of spite, rather than legitimate reasons.
