If I can, I'll be a Quarian Infiltrator in MP (providing that they allow you to select non-humans in the demo).Hellbound555 wrote...

Anyone think its kinda suspicious that there haven't been ANY Tali in any promotional material for ME3? Maybe we see through her visor from get go?
I think it's likely Bioware will reveal ME3 Tali info within the final week or two,
The only reason I can think of why Bioware would not show Tali info yet is because when they do BSN gets flooded with at least a dozen or so threads for EACH piece of Tali info. So all the other ME3 material like other characters, combat stuff, and behind the scenes info gets buried or 2nd paged in seconds. This happened alot last year when Bioware started revealing ME3 stuff.
So I do hope they supply some info about Tali soon. I'm too getting annoyed that theres been alot of info for other character threads to squee about but almost nothing for my favorite LI.

I'm sure they would, but it probably won't be that many. Probably only human, asari, and turian avatars are available.AVPen wrote...

can you believe it? in a few WEEKS, this thread will explode with posts/views when we finally see Tali's face.
...or when Tali's face is not revealed. It is kind of hard to predict how Bioware is going to go with Tali. Without an inside scoop that could certainly go either way.
Either way, I hope you all have flame retardant gear on standby. Whether or not Tali's face is revealed this thread will witness MUCH RAGE. Some people are going to be angry if her face is never revealed and other people are going to be angry if her face is revealed, and it isn't what they imagined. And if she is revealed, it is all but guaranteed that not everyone will be pleased.

Which is why I plan on going offline the day before launch and will stay offline until I complete my first playthough of ME3, which will of course be my canon Shepard who romanced Tali.Han Shot First wrote...

None of the ME2 love interests besides Garrus and Tali really have any info given out by Bioware. At least she has some screenshots. So I do hope they supply some info about Tali soon. I'm too getting annoyed that theres been alot of info for other character threads to squee about but almost nothing for my favorite LI.
That would be nonsensical. Hiding one's face is the only sort of privacy quarians have, and I really don't know what purpose Tali would have in showing it to everyone. Especially considering how showing her face to Shepard in the romance was a big deal to her.Anyone think its kinda suspicious that there haven't been ANY Tali in any promotional material for ME3? Maybe we see through her visor from get go?
Moreover, the footage and screenshots we have of Tali show her in her ME2 outfit, in which her visor is not transparent.
They may or may not change that, but other ME2 squad mates have retained their ME2 appearance, so keeping it that way is not out of the question.
People found the placeholder model behind Tali's visor visor by modding in game itself, not looking at promotional screenshots or videos. There have been theories floating around that the model has been updated to have her actual face behind the visor (due to a face reveal later on in the game), as a result of this, Bioware must take extra precautions so as to keep people from doing the same thing with her helmet that they have in the past to get a good, clear look at the place holder. Not my theory, and I have no idea as to how valid it is, but it does seem more plausible than a transparent visor.

True, Bioware hasn't released any story bits about Garrus, but he has been heavily used in marketing, including trailers and even being included in the demo, as is Liara. Tali has been in only three screenshots released one month before the game is released. There's been no significant in-game footage of her as far as I can recall.

Miranda, Samara and Jacob were in the femShep trailer, though.

Likewise.
It's one spoiler I try to actively avoid.
Edit: As for Tali's non-appearance so far, I expect to see her in the launch trailer or something.
They won't let us down.

This question gets asked once a week at the very least. No, you're not the only one suspicious.
Or maybe that simply means there won't be much Tali at all in ME3 ? But that's probably wrong... In that case, Bioware would have said so plainly from the get go instead of letting people's excpectations run so high. But how ironic that would be!!!

Gosh, do you think the (potential) reveal of Tali's face will only affect posts on the BSN? That news is going to explode all over the frakkin' internet! We're going to have to hermitize ourselves when the game comes out to avoid the spoilers.
Sadly, yes, I agree. On the bright side, I've a milestone due that week, so sequesterization won't be quite as difficult as it would be otherwise. And in my spare time, my main Shepard will be beelining for Rannoch as soon as possible. Once Spring Break hits.... boy oh boy. Prepare yourself, little XBox.
