I didn't even really think of the title. The song just started playing in my head a couple seconds after I read your original post. >_>

As for romanced Tali being Shepard's dirty little secret (does that necessarily mean romance though? Exiled Tali would be "dirty" to quarians anyway), it sorta makes sense from a quarian PoV if there really is that much stigma associated with interspecies relationships for cultural and/or reproductive reasons. But given the wide range of socially abormal stuff Shepard's gotten up to over the years, I doubt it's going to perturb either Shep or Tali all that much even if they're stigmatized. =P

If NPCs are commenting on Shepard's choice of significant other, that's actually pretty cool. I know this thought's been bandied about before, but I wonder if Shala'Raan may comment, for example.

I haven't read the leaked script, so the context of the line is not known to me. I was wondering if they may be referring to an exiled Tali in light of not revealing evidence, like she may be keeping a secret. Apparently that's not the case if it'd come across as creepy otherwise. Eep. >_>

For those curious, here are the "dirty little secret" dialogues (the phrase does sorta read as if they're for an exiled Tali, but there's also a "non-exiled Tali" opening to the scene, so maybe some other things will change further to the conversation depending on her status in the fleet):

"Non-Exiled" Opening
Shepard: Admiral?
Tali: It's mostly a formality. I'm an expert on the geth.
Shepard: That you are.

"Exiled" Opening
Shepard: I had no idea you were with the fleet.
Tali: They're keeping it quiet. There was a lot of publicity around my exile, but I'm an expert on the geth, so...
Shepard: You're their dirty little secret.

Dialogue Continued
Tali: Heh. I'm glad you're here.
Shepard: If I'd known it was this bad, I would have come sooner.
Tali: You've had your own troubles. I'm sorry about Earth.
Shepard: I came hoping your fleet would help me retake Earth.
Tali: We've got the largest fleet in the galaxy. If you can help us, we'll hit the Reapers with everything we've got. Or however much is left from this stupid war.
Shepard: I thought you'd support the invasion.
Tali: I'm an admiral. People look to me for guidance. Public disagreement would divide the fleet. They're still my people. Even if I am the admirals' dirty little secret. ("Exiled" scenario dialogue?)

Romance Extension
Shepard: And what about us?
Tali: No. Well... possibly. I don't know.
Shepard: Would us being together divide the fleet?
Tali: No! Their disapproval can't be any worse than being exiled. But right now, I've got civilian ships taking fire.

Yep, I've been debating which Shepard to import, and that dialogue made me remember my first ME2 game was with Tali, and I think I'll import her. Sorry Jack, Kaidan and Steve, you'll have to wait for subsequent playthroughs.

Now i'm getting more and more curious as to how the "ending" will go in a romance with tali when both exiled and not exiled, given what AVPen posted. Is there gonna just be a black screen of "The End" type thing or Dragon Age epilogue type thing.

Probably an epilogue that makes a statement on the ending you chose, but not the romance.
