If you believe leak script, then yes Tali will become a squad member and will be with you quite a lot after you can recruit her.

On a side note, is it just me or does everybody seem awfully calm in the demo while they are being attacked by a super powerful race of giant ships?

Military discipline I suppose, most everyone you meet is high ranking military or a little kid who isn't quite calm.

If you're refering to the Garrus/Liara duo and the ME3 Demo, don't worry - you CAN chose who you can have in your squad in the final game.

Just got done playing the demo, I was skeptical over the multiplayer but I gotta say I am looking forward to getting to play the full version come March. March seems so far away now haha.

The only two other races besides Human I've seen are Salarian and Turian.  Considering that the quarian is an engineer, I know it'll be a long time till I unlock it because when I think engineer I think repairing a flaming tank with a torch in the middle of Iran, but that's just me.  I played with a bit of soldier and more adept and if you get a group of people together who work as a unit and cooperate, it can be very rewarding.  If not, you all get curb-stomped by cerbuerus douchebags.

Damn. I won't be able to get all that stuff that comes with it. Oh well, I can still get the bonus guns and stuff from digital deluxe. There was just something about that N7 jacket I liked. Also, why sandbox it?

Yeah, I'd agree this would be optimal reveal-time. We'll see.

My best guess: 

-Tali + shepard on a small hill overlooking a desolet city on rannoch after a massive battle-
Shepard; But was it worth it?
Tali: -takes off mask just an inch before breathing deeply (view is from side, only tip of nose is visable) then drops the mask on the floor.
-turns to face camera-
Tali: You know it was.
