It's like this:
When talking to Kelly, the only options in the script are continuing romance with Tali/Garrus.

However, there are Tali lines that suggest a new romance.

Looks like you don't have Tali in your squad during/before this part of the game (which I've heard occurs halfway through, though I'm not sure):
Tali is not present during the coup.

Just got done playing the demo, I was skeptical over the multiplayer but I gotta say I am looking forward to getting to play the full version come March. March seems so far away now haha.

I'm actually feeling it's coming too soon.

I wish I could feel that way, it feels to me like this month and Jan. have been dragging on forever and ever.

Couldn't it be possible that the demo just chose your squadmates for you? I'm sure you'd have Ashley and Vega by now and they didn't show up...is Tali even confirmed as a permanent squadmate? I've been gone for a bit.

I just went though the new Mass Effect art book and there was no Tali art in the ME3 section but all off the known, and even one I didn't know, ME3 squadmates had thier own page. Really makes me think Tali will only be a temporary squadmate.

Do not worry, Domber. From the screenshots I've seen, Tali appears quite a lot in different areas. So either she is one, or she is a very frequent temporary one. And I don't think there'd be artwork of her because there isn't much art to be done since she is still in her ME2 suit.

Besides, if she wasn't, you know the Talimancers would raise 6 kinds of hell.

I think the leaked script is more of an authority than presence (or lack thereof) in an art book. She's a full squadmate, do not fear.

Plus Tali's name is in the PC Demos cookedpc folder along with EDI,Garrus,Liara,Ashley/Kaidan,Vega and the Prothean.

i think bioware is smart enough to avoid the PR work kicking tali to the side would be for them. i still remember all the people that freaked over no talimance in me1, hell, i didn't even know their was a love scene cause all i did was talk to tali, thank god for fan wiki's to teach us all to WTF the dev's.

I didn't even notice how many people wanted her to be a romance. The only evidence I saw was a review saying that ME1 gets a 9/10 because we couldn't do the horizontal bop with her. Not sure if serious though.

I never even considered her as a viable romance option. Hell, I thought she was 17 when I first met her. But now she's my favorite LI choice.

She's in the squad, that's for sure. But I am worried we won't be able to recruit her for most of the game. Lets hope we can do what ever species mission we won't after the Citadel part.

Yes, I want recruiting Tali, recruiting Garrus, and recuriting *SPOILER* to be the first things I do. Sadly it looks like this may not be possible.

She does sound younger than she actually is.

You and me both! screw the genophage. I am way more interested in the geth/quarian conflict.

not true. she was the first race I unlocked. She plays pretty damn awesome. At least the engineer does. I'm playing the Turian Sentinal now myself. He's the best one imo

Actually it is true, to a point. I got the quarian engineer as the first race, but it took about ten veteran packs, and countless recruit packs before I got any new race. The random aspect is terrible.

Yeah, not only do I really want to recruit Tali as early as possible, I want to see Legion; I really liked his part in the script. Plus, we apparently get to fight a Reaper on foot, which sounds awesome.

I approve fighting the reaper on foot. but as much as want to recruit Tali and Garrus as soon as possible. I want to chill with Mordin and Wrex just as much:D

True....I have yet to unlock a Krogan or Drell. I've unlocked at least 1 of all the other races tho
