Two weeks; that sucks. Personally, I plan on having the game beaten in two days from release. Yes, I`m going to pretty much play it nonstop as soon as I get it.

As for Tali in the launch trailer, I hope so. There`s been quite the distinct lack of her in the trailers so far.

I have a feeling Tali, Garrus, Liara, VS, Wrex, Joker, Legion, Mordin, Anderson, Miranda, and Jack will be in the launch trailer as they are the fan favorites. Maybe we'll get a snip of Prothy too.

well they said on the forums that they would release more info the the "from dust" dlc so we might get a trailer about that, and that's where we'd get some prothy I would think

I really would like Tali to appear in the launch trailer, since if not then she won't have been featured in any of the ME3 trailers at all.

For some reason, I think Bioware's internal memos say that ME3 Tali is to be treated like a secret squadmate or something. It's the only explanation for hiding any appearance of her outside of some shots during the Rannoch mission.

Meh, I'm not counting on it... at all <_< More than likely, if we even do get to see Tali in the ME3 trailer, we'll probably just get the same scenario that we got with the ME2 launch trailer:   a snippet of Tali in danger while Shepard's trying to save her, while later on in the trailer Shepard's shown making out with Ashley just like he did before with Miranda...

(yes, I'm still f***ing bitter at just how ******-poor the PR/marketing job for ME3 has been done so far by BioWare)

Like I said, I think they're marketing her as if her return is just as secret as the two actual spoiler squadmates. Bioware refuses to admit that the cat's been out of the bag for a while, remember when they took back what they said about Tali being permanent by dodging the Tweet with "Nothing's permanent in war!"

It's like 1984, they've ret-conned reality into one where they never revealed Tali's joining the team again, and they're still running with it until the end lol

I hope you can have a romance with Tali Zorah, i don't think that they should show her face tho it would be cool. But it might not meet ppls expectations so best not too =)

Its the same either way, no matter what people will be dissapointed because of the hype. Bioware should just bite the bullet, and show us already.

Shep already knows what she looks like, half the galaxy already knows what quarians look like, its just silly to keep it secret.

According to an inside source who has apparently played the game (which we in the spoiler group suspect is actually one of the game testers), who has been giving quite a deal of info on ME3 that seems incredibly accurate.... the player will get to see Tali's face ONLY if Shepard romanced her in ME2 and continued the romance in ME3.

In the Art of Mass Effect, on Thane's page there's a quote that honestly goes along the lines of "We had to figure out a way to make the Drell look alien, but still really attractive because he was a love interest." (Paraphrased.)

You might think it's shallow of them, but when Bioware's designing a character to be a love interest the artists are pretty much told they have to be attractive.

Of course, attractive is a subject view point. For the most part I think more alien will be better, because Bioware has a knack for shooting right down Uncanny Valley when a character is human, but add any weird detail and it turns out much better, like Jack with the unique tatoos, Thane and the asari all distancing themselves from plain human and turning out fine (or at least, better than the humans all have thus far.)

I could only bring myself to play the first few minutes of the demo. Not because it was bad, but because I felt like it was revealing too much of the plot.
Add to that the fact that I felt weird playing without my canon-shep.

There are those who could have romanced her for her body, but in general I agree. Unless you like the mystery behind her face, you would like her character for more than looks.
