Depends if she can be newly romanceable (which may be doubtful considering what's been said in this thread about face reveal prerequisites), as well as the other available love interests.

The romance in ME2 is not really to my current tastes.

Fortunately, the friendship content with Tali seems pretty strong in ME3.

No, none of the ME2 Romances can be started in ME3, in ME3 she romances Garrus.

I still think Shepard's dialogues in Tali's romance could be better written. There seems to be more content in the Liara, Kaidan and Ashley romances too.

It's a mixed blessing. On one hand, it's some actual acknowledgement and opinion of other (former, in this case) squad mates.

In ME2, it felt like each squad mate was on their own island. On the other hand, I never got the impression that Tali felt that strongly about Miranda (which again, is partly due to the nature of ME2), so it came off as surprising and perhaps a bit hard to believe.

Tali also comments on Jacob:
She says she never really liked Jacob, but is glad that he's okay.

I've looked the script and other leaks and while to be fair I can't exactly say it for everyone, Tali does go with Garrus, Miranda and Jacob I believe have moved on with their own lives.

But thats all I'll say for now.

Nothing wrong with that. Not everything has to be serious all the time; I thought it provided a nice change of pace.

It was actually pretty balanced content wise, because the mission on Rannoch with Tali integrates positive interaction in regards to her romance with Shepard better than Liara or A/K and the missions that more heavily involve them.

A/K in particular basically join for the start of the game only to leave and not come back 'til nearly where Tali enters the picture anyway.

Speaking of which, I hope Tali's recruitable a lot earlier than the script would seem to suggest. There's no plot reason for the genophage plot to come before the geth/quarian one, so I don't understand why we would have to do them in that order.

I'm hoping this is free-roam, but it will problaby be because the Krogans are getting hit before the Quarians are.

You don't have to worry about Ashley/Kaidan being on your ship if you don't want them to be.

Maybe. Bioware pretty much set out to have the VS and Liara romances as the "trilogy-spanning" romances in the game. As far as content goes... well there's a certain four-letter word that Shepard says to all the other LIs except for Tali, which is a glaring omission if you ask me.

I might suggest that the geth/quarian plot being later in the game provides better context for the end game decisions.

There's totally a scene where the L word-bomb gets dropped in regards to Tali. I swear to god, I read it. I need some sleep, do not make me go pour over the Clan Zorah spoiler thread for 14 hours to try and see if I'm imaging that. It was during the Quarian/Geth storyline, I think.

I'm fairly certain at least some recruits will be delayed. Tali was supposed to be possible to recruit early in ME2 as well, however due to having to split the game onto 2 disks for Xbox360, that was scrapped.

There is going to be either some plot availability divide, or 360 users may have to deal with swapping disks often.

Amentis, don't worry. I can confirm that for you. It's there.

By most estimates it's half-way through the game at earliest.
They may have changed this in the final build, but that's the way it seems to be right now.
