Well, there's a point to be made not to get too worked up about fictional characters.

But that's just a testament to Bioware's writing team. They're simply some of the best at getting people to care about NPCs in-game.

I completely agree. Why would once perfectly straight characters suddenly turn bi/gay? It also doesn't fit the characters at all. Try to imagine Tali or Garrus being bi. It would be absurd. I have nothing against people who want S/S but it just doesn't fit Mass Effect at all.

Well, if it's anything like how Javik's people dealt with another race who created AI in the past:

Prothean: In my cycle, a race called the Zha used machines, the Zha'til, as synthetic symbiotes. The Reapers subjugated the Zha'til as they have the geth. Their mechanical swarms blotted out the sky. They were brutal, merciless.

Tali: Keelah. What did you do?

Prothean: We sent their star into supernova. I believe the Zha would have thanked us.

I'm sensing relentless verbal bashing being recieved on Tali's end, bordering on cruel & unusual punishment. This is something I must see.

Nah, most of his scorn and verbal tongue-lashing will be going towards Liara, not Tali.

Oddly enough, one of the best teams for a Vanguard Shep has always been Full Engineer + Another Vanguard.

Guess what Tali and Javrik are?

I'm just imagining how well-rounded it is. Plenty of crowd control from Javrik, and Sabotage and drones from Tali. Then there's defense stripping, you've got Tali with Energy Drain and Javrik with his Warp spinoff.

Ha, last time a prothean observed humanity we were probably beating each other to death with rocks, and dragging our mates by the hair. Huh now that I think about not much has changed has it.
