But that's just a testament to Bioware's writing team. They're simply some of the best at getting people to care about NPCs in-game.

Why even bother posting? Actually, why even come in this thread? You aren't insulting anybody and are just making yourself look like an uneducated idiot.<_<Multiplayer optional LOL wrote...
LOL Tali nerds getting all emo about a virtual girlfriend's 'death'.

I completely agree. Why would once perfectly straight characters suddenly turn bi/gay? It also doesn't fit the characters at all. Try to imagine Tali or Garrus being bi. It would be absurd. I have nothing against people who want S/S but it just doesn't fit Mass Effect at all.Saphra Deden wrote...

I guess they had to keep some of the LI's completely straight.
Every love interest being bisexual is such a stupid concept only someone from the BSN could possibly advocate the idea.
Good for Tali that she has an actual sexual orientation and isn't just an object there to fulfill every player fantasy. Not that she's immune to that, obviously.

Anyone else think it's kind of a shame Tali is 100% straight? I'll still romance her of course in the third game, but I can't ever get used to Male Shepard.
No, not at all. Let's not start a sexual orientation discussion here either, there's already a thread for that.

I plan on bringing the two together a lot (Team Shotgun FTW!), so I'm definitelty looking forward to how they interact.Arcian wrote...
I'm looking forward to see how Javik interacts with Tali. I imagine, Javik's views on synthetics considered, that it won't be pretty.
And yeah, I don't think Prothy's going to be too happy with either Shepard or Tali about pushing for peace with the geth instead of just wiping them out. Hopefully we can change his mind on the matter. Makes me wonder how Prothy will react to EDI, too...

Well, if it's anything like how Javik's people dealt with another race who created AI in the past:Arcian wrote...

Prothean: In my cycle, a race called the Zha used machines, the Zha'til, as synthetic symbiotes. The Reapers subjugated the Zha'til as they have the geth. Their mechanical swarms blotted out the sky. They were brutal, merciless.
Tali: Keelah. What did you do?
Prothean: We sent their star into supernova. I believe the Zha would have thanked us.

I'm sensing relentless verbal bashing being recieved on Tali's end, bordering on cruel & unusual punishment. This is something I must see.
Hell, I'm looking forward to Prothy burning... everyone, really.
I've officially run out of wierd Tali pics.

Nah, most of his scorn and verbal tongue-lashing will be going towards Liara, not Tali.Unschuld wrote...

Guess what Tali and Javrik are?
I'm just imagining how well-rounded it is. Plenty of crowd control from Javrik, and Sabotage and drones from Tali. Then there's defense stripping, you've got Tali with Energy Drain and Javrik with his Warp spinoff.
Aww yeaaaah.

Ha, last time a prothean observed humanity we were probably beating each other to death with rocks, and dragging our mates by the hair. Huh now that I think about not much has changed has it.TLock_Supreme wrote...
