I'll make sure to give it a read when I finally have the time, but ever since I lost my saves I still haven't beaten ME2 again. I don't want to just Gibbed a proper save together, and right now I have nothing to import! X.X
Then you're in the same deep crap that I am LOL!
I live in Europe, so the game is coming 8th of March.. My laptop is under repair now (hard drive got shafted so to speak´, meh). I will get my laptop back next weekend. Then I gotta make a ME2 run like I wanna do it. So, basically I have a week to complete ME2 before 3 arrives. BUt I guess I won't be playing ME3 when it launches, I'll take my sweet time and complete ME2 properly.
Besides, Street Fighter x Tekken is coming 9th day, so I'm in no hurry. I'm just afraid of succumbing to the spoilers coming due march
I guess I gotta hurry up when I get my laptop back, LOL!

Actually, the "Admiral mission" is a side mission in ME3 to save Admiral Koris and Quarian refugees from the Geth.People4Peace wrote...
Are you talking about the ME2 side mission? If so, read below otherwise just ignore.
You don't have to save the Admiral before Tali. I usually do all the side missions after I beat the main story in ME2. So I was able to bring Tali (and Legion) with me every time but it doesn't make a difference because they don't acknowledge each other. It just sounds like you should do it at some point in ME2.
Additionally, I wouldn't bank on saving all the ME3 side missions for later and then finish them after most of the main story missions are complete because from the sounds of it, certain side missions are "timed" (like how you were timed after Horizon and could only complete 5 missions before the "Collector Ship" mission started) before they expire and you'll then be unable to complete them, losing any rewards that they might offer.
That is why my plan is to do focus on the main missions exepct for those that seem urgent. I assume that those that have a time limmit will be prompted by a call or email to Shepard. Since from what I can tell most "optional" main missions are not timed baring a handful, I will be able to just do the main missions (and get Tali quicker) and be able to pick out those that are timed and do those.

Literally every playthrough I rewrote the heretics....FUUUU!!! oh well as long as peace is still possible since I keep Legion and Tali's loyalty and she's still a memeber of the fleet, I'm good
I never used the virus on the heretics.
I have made all sorts of observations on it internally, but what it comes down to is that I simply can't. To me its wrong.
I have one playthorugh were I took a gamble on both the rachni and the geth. That decision to save/destroy the geth would've been a great conferance moment if Tali was in your squad she and legion could've gone back and forth a bit to each other on how their choices could effect their futures Legion for the geth and Tali against it. You could've asked her for her opnion since you know her people are going to be the ones to have to live with it. Hopefully in 3 in moments were we know so and so has a history attached to a decision we've been asked to make they offer their opnions on how this could effect their people long term so we can decide do we really want to do it one way or another.

I've heard the romances this time around have a sad and a happy ending and I've heard people say that Tali doesn't have a happy ending, I take it with a grain of salt, but this has me worried nonethless. I mean, I see a lot of **** IRL and all dat and I'd really just love to have a nice ending for a change and not one of those ''hurr sad ending is so deep and emotional derp''
So you may PM me if you don't wanna tell it in this stream, JUST don't give me ANY details, I just want to know there is an option to achieve the HAPPY ending (if there is one).
Thanks in advance and all dat!

I don't think it's all that spoilerish. The degree of 'happiness' in the ME3 romance for Tali does in some ways relate to the outcome of the Quarian/Geth conflict.Olvaha wrote...

The "source" where we're getting the majority of these spoiler ME3 info confirmed that rewriting the Heretics would make the Quarian forces weaker in response (has something to do with how data modifiers work with the war assets data, I believe).Dethklokx7 wrote...
Rewrite does give you more WA but i dont think it weakens quarian forces. and the side missions may just lock out others rather than them being "timed" So i guess you have to set your priorities
Also, here's an estimated runthrough of the game's main story missions (just keep in mind, this is mostly speculation based on what we know so far and the missions listed in the extracted data files from the demo):
- Mars archive/arrive at the Citadel
- Palaven
- Sur'Kesh/Turchanka missions ("Genophage Arc")
- Cerberus attack on Citadel
- Rannoch missions ("Quarian/Geth conflict")
- Thessia
- SPOILER

So it seems that rewriting the heretics doesn't have any benefits? It wasn't my purpose to make the Quarians weaker, so that sucks.
Even though rewriting the Heretics does makes the Quarians weaker, it does make the Geth stronger and, providing that you can still achieve peace between the two races, the war assets you recieve for both is higher than if you destroyed the Heretics and achieved peace between the Quarians/Geth (I think it's like 50 points more).

From Ashes is supposed to have an AA for every squadmate, and is designed as something for the long term fans. Those colors match the ME1 colossus armor. Make it happen Biowarrre.

Actually, the "From Ashes" AA seems to be using Alliance-themed colors for their armor, since Vega and Kaidan get Alliance-colored versions of the "Cerberus Centurion" armor while Liara gets an Alliance-colored version of the "Cerberus Phantom" armor.Spartanburger wrote...

I see your point, but I still loved those colors for her. I put the ME2 DLCAA look above all others though. Minus the visorception. My first multiple runs of ME2 had the Colossus Tali texmod put on it. Was much more HD than the default and looked very nice although seemed very 'new' and lacked textures for her hands.Collider wrote...
I never felt that black and red were really Tali's colors, exactly. They look nice on her, but do they fit the character?
I personally wouldn't base the looks of all AA in From Ashes off of what we've seen from only two of the available AAs in that DLC.AVPen wrote...

What other AA DLC had a consistent color scheme across all the looks? That's right. None. They did seem to have a visual theme, but not color theme (AAP2 was armor and visors, with Tali, Miri, and Grunt all getting beefed up armor and visors (even though I don't even visors on grunt visors inside visors yo dawg) and AAP1 with glasses for Thane and Jack (Garrus being a design exception in that pack).
