Now that the cat is out of the bag, I can also tell you that there's a certain scene in the game that implies that Liara is more important to Shepard than Tali is.

It was also said that this was true due to a glitch.

I wouldn't call it a glitch. More like an oversight. Or lack of care.

Just came in to point out it's not a glitch.  That same guy who extracted the data files didn't even find video files for Tali or any other ME2 romance.  Bioware pretty much trolled you.

So get him to post a screenshot of those files proving that is true.

IIRC they said something about how the flags didn't detect properly and they decided to just roll with it. A bit of both I think.

Edit: If these endings due turn out to be true, I'm still going to play it. I'll deal with it just how I've dealt with everything else.

Also: This song may fit the ending sort of well

That doesn't make any sense though.  If they knews the flags weren't working, why would they just leave it unless they intended to patch it?

"The Horrible Debacle of the ME3 ending" blah blah blah. You know what, no one here can actually tell me what happened. Why? BECAUSE IT HASN' T YET! People here can only say I heard from so and so who heard from so and so. This is not any reason for me to believe. Also you cannot say that i am in denial since NONE of you have actual legitimate evidence for yourselves. So if you are that easily disuaded in your hopes for an enjoyable game, why bother with being on BSN, or even playing the game in general. You guys saw how the "suicide mission" went. If you did enough things right it turned out pretty well. Maybe this go around isn't so clear cut, but still do you really think that you will get that screwed over by Bioware. They are a company. They like money. Who wants to buy games that suck no matter what? No one. They would not do that to their fan base. It wouldn't be trolling. It would be stupid. So think twice before you go off and jump on the band wagon of judging a game that has NOT even come out yet!

... Also the ME2 Tali theme just came up on my playlist. Rage has decreased majorly.

This is confirmed directly from one of the the guys that got one of the Space Editions, has finished the game with full assets, all allys, as prepared as it is possible to be, did all the options abailable, and then extracted the video files to make sure there weren't any he missed.

There are 100% no happy endings, and no endings where Shepard ends up with any of the LI's.

And Tali and Garrus, if on board the Normandy at the end of the game, will suffer horrible, tragic ends. Denying it isn't going to change that.

You?

Even then to me, you are just another member of the vast interwebs, which has more than its share of trolls.  How are we to confirm that the game has even entered said person's home?  OK denial arguement, as said before, not valid to me until you have beaten this game.  Its like me saying wow I don't think that N6 (to continue the Halo comparisons) died at the end of reach (denial) versus... Let me tell you that you are wrong about what WILL... IN THE FUTURE happen in Halo 4.  They are very different concepts.  Also did you happen to notice that the two said characters are two of the bigger favorites out there.  Prime troll bait.  Just Sayin'.  Whatever, I am not buying it.  You can talk until you are blue in the face, and you will shake some people up, but not me.  But while I am at it notice the last part of my previous argument.  Then tell me why they would do this.

That's BS. How hard is it to check some flags.

Seems pretty odd. If the Ashley/Kaidan flags were working, I'd have to wonder why the Tali flag wouldn't be working. What Alpha said about the Tali file not existing at all also seems to be true.

I don't know. Once again, this brings up the issue of a single (or few) sources being quoted multiple times like chinese whispers. By the time it gets down the line the message is garbled. As I said before, I'll wait for pics/video.

Good...lord. I should mention that I didn't cave in and read the spoilers till just now. I have just lost my will to read any more, yet I think I'll have to now.

If what's been spoiled is true, and there's little reason to believe it isn't, this game is hardly even worth playing. I still will, just to say that I did, but I will never look at it with the same enthusiasm as before.

To add insult to injury, Saphra is now gloating in the spoiler threads about being right. I have never wanted to ram someone's face into a wall and mash it like a potato so much in my life.

I'm a generally upbeat guy when it comes to putting my faith in developers. But this is making an unshakable pessimist out of even me. My only question to those who thought this writing would be received well is,

WHY?

Conrad Verner.

Always responds the Renegade way in ME2. The Paragon way is even in the game.

Does raise a point as to why the other videos aren't in the game if it's a flag issue.

This just keeps getting better doesn't it? :( I was skeptical about Mass Effect before, but now I'm downright depressed. Is it even orth buying the game if it'll just leave me upset and unsatisfied at the end?

Well, if they are all trolls, good. Seriously. My playthrough would likely be 10x what it would have been had I not just taken this blow. I'd sheepishly smile, rub my head, and say I have no idea what came over me.

But at this point and since like every spoiler and leak has, eventually, been proved by bioware as legimimate (not that any of the other ones bothered me) I just can't see this as being completely false.

If they are missing some crucial info well then cheers and can't wait to see what I thought I was missing. Otherwise, meh, I'll stick to my depressing sigh.

Well, now we know why this Faunts music was selected for the credits.

(first time I heard it, my first thought was "Oh God, this music sounds rather depressing as sh*t, hope it doesn't reflect the endings...")

Ladies, Gentlemen,
It has been an honor debating and discussing with you for the past few months, but I do not believe that I will come on any longer. Doomsdayers, and trolls have breached our defenses on the TALI thread. Maybe it will come around, but I want to see what happens for myself, not what a bunch of people on the TALI thread say will happen, and frankly its getting annoying. Did I mention that this is the Tali thread. So yeah, talk about Tali not spoilers... that are irrelevant.

Personally, I'm still excited for the game and suspect I'll probably enjoy it. But I do think it's reasonable for people to be upset over this.
In theory, anyway. When people actually play the game, it's possible that everything will imply that there's no sunshine and butterflies at the end of the road. That may change some minds.

Again, what gets me is that they claim these endings are 100% verified, yet any calls for videos or screenshots of the game being played to prove these are real gets ignored or goes unanswered.

If you're already violating NDA by saying what you've said (and you have, you can't deny it), then why are holding back?

There's a difference between writing text even if it violates NDA and actually showing video.  I remember for the TOR beta that people wrote all this stuff that violated NDA but only when they posted videos did Bioware hunt them down.

I'm highly skeptical about what I've heard regarding the fate of the Normandy. That wasn't hinted at in any leaked script I've read.

There's a hint in the file for certain. It's the epilogue.
