Luckily I can save Tali so the world is fine. GOOD TRY THOUGH. Go back to tying to convince everyone that these endings arent terrible. If they are true anyway.jreezy wrote...

I'm afraid I got worked up awhile back and I've been out of the threads for a bit. Going back through the various posts looking for where this all started can be a pain so could someone, please, give me the Cliff's Notes on what has so many people upset? I hope I'm reading this wrong, but, does ME3 kill Tali regardless of your choices if you take her somewhere? Or does she die regardless of the ending chosen? That can't be right...
I know how it feels.
In a nutshell, If you recruit Tali as a squadmate, she gets stuck with the rest of the Normandy crew on what appears to be a larger version of Gilligans Island. This happens 100% of the time and to the best of our knowledge, it cannot be avoided if she is a squad member (unless she dies). And the planet is a levo-amino so folks are freaking about about her starving.
However, some highly intelligent gentleman figured out that if we DONT recruit her, (so leave her on Rannoch with the other Quarians,) she WONT be marooned, and instead, will come to Earth at the endgame and fight and be stranded on Earth instead, and if Shep survives, they can live happily ever after.
Obviously not recruiting her deprives the player of the romance scene, and the majority of the romance dialogue, but gives her a chance of living relatively happily on Earth after the game.
If I have left anything out guys, feel free to correct me.

Simple answer without spoiling anything for you. Yes Tali can survive after the ending. If you make the right choices.

I'll add:If I have left anything out guys, feel free to correct me.
The whole food and Tali starving to death thing is fan speculation and the endings themselves aren't presented that way.
In addition, I doubt Tali is actually visibly present during the earth battle if you don't recruit her.
So not recruiting her is just nice for your imagination and fanfiction, I guess.

It's more of a "frightening implications" thing. I doubt the writers even thought about it during development. Once it occurred to them it was "Oh.... too late."
Frankly I think it's a bit out of character (maybe) that Shepard's squad leaves him on the Citadel. You'd think after all this they'd stay there and fight their through to the commander or die trying. Or something.

There may also be the chance that the Prothean DLC changes and/or adds some endings.

But the videos can't change. In-game cutscenes can.
Then again, Xiao(I keep forgetting the name) said that we get the same endings, even with NG+ and (some people say?) 100% readiness.
