Solve the problem how?
Start a farm?
With what?

1.) That required a huge investment of money
2.) It required very advanced, cutting-edge technology
3.) It took over two years
4.) It was the endeavor of perhaps hundreds of people working with state-of-the-art equipment
The planet the Normandy crashes on has none of these things.
You might as well dump Tali naked in the Amazon jungle and then tell me that she somehow found a way to survive. Maybe she even built her own damn starship.
I'll believe it.

But it took them two years, MASSIVE resources, and the most brilliant human minds to give the **** you to nature.
You're asking the Normandy crew to do the same for two people before they starve to death.
Besides there are tons of possibilities.. Liek if the kodiak is still functional or if the Normandy can still somehow fly FTl around the system. Maybe other planets/moons arent as bad?
If they can't figure out a way to convert or create dextro food, find the resources, and build it before Team Dextro starves, there is no point.
Also, the likelihood that one planet is levo and a neighboring one is dextro is laughably slim.

You are completely missing the point. They did something that made no sense and is seemingly impossible, but it was allowed through the idea that with science youc an accomplish anything. And I have already said some possibilities.Saphra Deden wrote...

Seriously, on a Tali-related topic, I have heard it said that they are planning on making a full length, live-action Mass Effect movie based on the story of the first game. Disregarding the terrifying prospect that it may very well suck (although I think that if any game lends itself to being a good movie, ME does), if it does happen, what would you like to see them do with Tali?
I know that the odds of her being the LI that they use for the movie would have around a 1/1000 shot (And definatley not until and unless they make a second movie), but I hope that they at least show that she is important to Shepard. Considering that they could never do the entire cast justice in a single movie, even a 2.5 hour long one, they would probably focus on just a few. Tali, unfortunately, might be an easy one to get side-lined.

Who knows, maybe that planet has both Dextro and Levo based life. Anyway if you do the Merge ending it won't be much of a problem anyway. Btw, the Citadel survive some endings right? There is the conduit and that inactive relay Protheans disabled. Can't they just reverse engineer those and build new mass relays?
1.) that can't happen...I mean...it CAN if they happened to crash on some sort of pet project planet where both species and their respective ecosystems were planted there by a team of scientists to see if such a thing is possible....but that is soooo unlikely...
2.) Merge, from what I've heard, simply turns everyone into Shepard...in the sense that everyone gets cybernetics but they are very much still what they originally were initially (i.e. they're not a brand new organism). So they still need to eat. Even if the cybernetics took away their need for food consumption, they'd need to gather energy for their cybernetics. And unless Tali knows how to make solar panels out of dust and scrap metal, they're as good as dead.
3.) And if the Citadel is still left intact and some engineers happen to be on the Citadel or stumble upon the Citadel in time, then yes...they'll be able to eventually reverse engineer the exit point of the Conduit. Hell, maybe even the Citadel itself. The only reason they haven't is because they fear that they'd break it.

You are saying "ME universe brought a dead person back to life; anything can happen"
We are saying "that took two years, advanced technology, hundreds of highly trained scientists, doctors, and engineers, and near infinite resources to cheat nature"
You're asking for something VERY similar to happen again, but in two weeks time.
It is impossible. It's literally like asking for them to build a fully functioning Mass Relay using the Normandy's drive core. In two days....with no element zero.

Looking at ME1, Tali was important when you rescue and meet her but after that she could basically not be present for the rest of the game.
Exactly. I think if they do a movie they'll have asari and turians, a salarian or two, and that's it really.
Tali's entire role in the story can be cut out or altered so that she's never on screen.
