Finally BACK ON TRACK!

I think it's lame that Tali's outfit in ME3 is identical to her ME2 outfit. Lazy, Bioware, very lazy. They also should have given the admirals unique outfits.

Saw a deviant art drawing of that once.

The other admirals didn't get special admiral outfits. Tali's is unique compared to the other quarians, anyway.

Yeah but shes the only one that dosnt get a new outfit. The suit does not need to change much anyway.

Nothing to worry about. They'll release some alternate outfit DLC.

Finally smiles

Tali rules

It is a shame but I agree her and garus and wrex would be downplayed for a movie, they just dont have the time well to do any of em justice.

Then again heh I remember the Wing commander Movie and how pissed i was at that (insert your curse here) So I would go to a mass effect one not expecting much.

A Mass Effect movie wouldn't really work though, because you can't make choices in a movie. It'd be full of BS "canon" decisions.

A movie wouldn't do justice at all.

Anyone wishing for a Tali spin-off game? Such as a prequel?

*snip*

I'd buy that, as long as it's an RPG, and not some FPS/TPS.

Yeah... so I have to miss out on a lot of content on my fav character just so she may meet up with shepard off screen in one ending? Otherwise she will get stranded on a random planet and **** knows what happens after that part?

these ending... are MINDBOGGELINGLY STUPID.

"Tali? Garrus? Yeah, I just wanted to let you guys know, while you may want to accompany me to the Citadel against the Reapers, I have left a stash of truly exceptional porno under a rock in London. I'll send you the coordinates...but ONLY if you stay on Earth!"

And thus Tali and Garrus were saved that day.

Something Awful Forums Guy comes to the rescue again:

Question: I have no idea, maybe they take their sweet sweet time. And about the epilogue: you're right, it's not specifically stated it's the same planet. That's just the assumption going around right now. Tank did say the Normandy planet looked like Jurassic Park while the epilogue video looks more like a Christmas card.

SAFG's answer: That's because - as far as I know - there's no confirmation that the planet the Normandy crashes on and the planet that Stargazer is on is one in the same. In fact, considering the epilogue scene fires regardless of the ending you get (even the one that implies the Normandy crew is dead), there's little proof that the Normandy crew is permanently stranded or that they form an incestuous colony.

Considering the overall tone of the ending, I'd say it's unlikely they are stranded or that the ending is supposed to be considered 'sad'. Everyone's smiling and poo poo and looking at the sunrise, not wailing helplessly because they believe they're trapped forever.

That's my two cents on the matter.

It's very simple. If the "Grandpa & The Shepard" epilogue fires up even in case no one comes out of Normandy's hatch, then it mean the epilogue is NOT taking place on the same planet the Normandy crashed and that it is NOT implied that they never got away. If everyone died during crash, it means nobody produced synthetic/incestuous babies so Grandpa couldn't be born on this planet.

Not to mention, if the epiloge was taking place on the same planet, then there should've been two version of it: one with organic plants and Granpda, and one with synthetic plants and Grandp due to Synergy ending.

Posted in the spoiler group site so there is hope

no kidding. That means I have to beat the game twice essentially just so I can use a plot loophole. The ending is still retarded.

Most of the Liara fans left because they got scared of spoilers. While the Tali fans stayed strong and handled it pretty well and they got rewarded with a loophole while liara is... lol.

It would be rather funny if we have all misunderstood the ending. In reality, they are not stranded and can return to earth anytime they want.

I'll just not recruit Tali on my first playthrough. I'll watch the romance on Youtube. It sucks, but I couldn't doom Tali to Gilligan's Planet. It's a shame Bioware put some of us in this position with their Deus Ex ending rip-offs.

Or they could of set up a beacon and they got help and they ftl them off the planet. Cause we don't know where they actually crash landed so the planet could be extermly close to earth.

edit: Stone read the post the grandpa and kid are not related to the normandy crew because that epilouge still plays even though the crew can die in the crash so it leaves things open so you can easily head canon it. You can decide how close the planet is to earth you can decide that tali sets up a beacon hell you can decide that getting from that planet to earth takes 1-2 months.

...Honestly, it's Tali's alienness that keeps her out. Take the exact same character but make her human, and she would be a much bigger contender for a potenial LI and thus being included as a major character. Unfortunately, movies attract a much wider crowd then games, including family groups and highly-traditional people who would look at a human falling in love with an alien as disgusting, no matter how well written. Liara might get away with it, being so human in appearance, but no quarian or turian would get the same pass...

Not so fast. The movie Avatar had a prominent interspecies romance with a huge blue alien girl. Don't remember having heard any bad comments about it. I think people tend to be scandalized more by scenes of nudity than by alienness...

Honestly, tali could still be in the movie with the evidence and still join the crew but would be relegated to being "supporting cast" as the engineers assistant with very few lines and only occasionally getting screen time if at all.

Also the normandy being stranded does it specifically state that the planet is not earth (haven't read all the spoilers)? granted the background with joker doesnt seem like earth, but the normandy crash site's jungle COULD be in the Amazon (not saying it is or isnt, just that it could be).
