There is an author on Fanfiction.net who is creating a Halo/Mass Effect story with a poll on who is to be Master Chief's love interest. Even with only two chapters up so far, her has impressed me with how seamless he made it work so far and I can only hope it continues. It's called 'The Spartan Protocol' by 'Kamen Rider Fourze' and the reason I am posting this is I'm looking for support from Tali fans to vote for her on the poll in his page. And before you say "No, she should be with Shepard" or what not, Shepard is female in this fic so there is no conflict of interest for all us Tali/Shep fans. Hope to have your vote.

wow, she pulls a Celes (FFVI), but unlike her, she dies......

It's definitely something extreme... Tali crying and Shepard shouting "No, no, no, Tali wait!" (among other things) can't be a good sign...

Oh hey almost forgot Another reason Tali is so cool..

So I go over to help my nephew play 2 (he gets stuck and well misses the side quest's a lot) Anyway while on omega I saw he had yet to by the engine part (well cause it was not a gun)

So I have him get it and I ave him run it down to Gabby and company, he has recruited Tali by this time so Imagine my shock when Ken says "hey tali are you in" and she say "sure" and starts to walk over... when we get to the card bit

Thats it but I had never seen that cut scene before....... My jaw dropped really heh I had always well got the part before getting to recruit her cause well its kinda right there early

I am hoping some of you may have missed it to but now you can peek it out yerself hehe

I adore Tali, and although I am not very familliar with the Halo story and lore, I don't think that she and MC would make a good couple. He's not the same sort of born leader qualities as Shepard, nor does he have anywhere near the same sheer compassion for his crew that Paragon Shepard has (and quite frankly, I've always felt that Paragon Shep was a much better match for Tali then Renegade Shep). I just don't think that it works.

As a matter of fact, I don't think that any of them really work for MC. Maybe Ashley or even Liara, but Miranda would try to control him and that would probably end up with one of them getting killed, Shepard barely got through to Jack so there is no way that MC could come anywhere close, I just don't see how any of the ME2 LIs would work. Ash is at least another straight up disciplined soldier who can look at him on equal grounds and wouldn't long for a more romantic relationship, and Liara is tough enough to look him in the eyes (figuratively speaking, I think that MC is what, 7 feet or something?) while still having a sort of healing quality to her that might possibly help with certain things.

The main difference I suppose is that, Shepard is a great soldier but he is also so much more. MC is nothing but a great soldier. Tali would never work with him. I don't think so at least.

On the other hand, that is just the impression that I got of MC after playing one game and nothing else. He might be entirely different then what I am saying if I looked deeper into him.

For sure, no. But some generally reliable person who has played the game has said yes. What was said was that you need to have romanced Tali to see her face.*
Otherwise, her back is to the camera when she removes her visor on Rannoch.

I suspect that they may have actually decided to have Tali's back to the camera for every Shepard in the final build, though. Who knows.

It is a bit odd that her face hasn't been leaked when we already have screenshots floating around.

*A very very brief description of her face from this person:

Yeah, that one thing is something I didn't expect at all. Which makes me ever more curious.
(also, please edit the spoiler part, since it doesn't get grayed out )

But no matter what, both my Shepards are with Tali and will get here in ME3 too.

I love Tali but I know pictures of her face will be posted here before I get to see the dramatic reveal in game. I've spoiled myself some here, but her face and the origin of the Reapers are two spoilers I absolutely refuse to see second hand, so I bid you all adieu.

Also Tali would be a terrible fit for Master Chief, yes. And his hormones are so crazy from being tampered with as a kid he, and all the Spartans, don't have a sex drive so there's that too.

Didn't see what coming? The description? I suppose that's a little off from what I had expected as well, but it really is a vague description and...well I expected sort of a dark purple anyways, so black isn't that big of a difference.

It strikes me that the face must look decently humanoid, because if it was highly alien, I feel like that would be noted.
