Gah - trying to come into this thread to love Tali and simultaneously trying to avoid ending spoilers is risky, but I have a question.
If I romanced Liara in ME1, completed the Suicide Mission, then continued with Liara in LotSB, then romanced Tali, what are the repurcussions?

I take the conditions on Rannoch into consideration when trying to picture what Quarians look like. I think it's safe to say that their skin tone is not all one color - the Geth have stripes on the backs of their legs. Rannoch's sun is older than our own, which would mean it is putting out more radiation. I could see the Quarians having skin mostly similar to a human's, but with "geth plates" in different areas which provide extra radiation protection. They're not Turians, but somewhere in-between. I don't think they would have hair. They're frequently portrayed with purple skin, but that doesn't make sense in an evolutionary way. Probably closer to the camoflage colors you'd expect from an arid, desert-like environment.

Not necessarily off-putting, but different.

If anyone figures out a way to continue the romance plot with her in ME3 without getting her killed or

at the end, they're going to have to share that knowledge with the rest of us. I want to want this game, but the endings are not promising.

If I had to guess, you get confronted by Liara and Tali and forced to choose between them as though LotSB hadn't happened. I've never tested it myself, but does Liara's dialogue change if your ME2 LI dies during the suicide mission?

What I'm left wondering is how the game handles total douchebags who went through all of the ME2 LI's in sequence after the suicide mission...

Seriously. By the time ME3 starts, it's possible for Shepard to have knocked boots with five different people. I haven't done a playthrough like that, but I was thinking of doing one as "Jayne Cobb personified." Don't know if I could go through with it, though. I can't even stomach handing Veetor over to Cerberus.

Forgetting completely about Tali herself for a moment, do we get to see any other Quarians without their mask on?

I just finished a Gmod video. It's not exclusively Tali, but there is Tali in it. She doesn't appear until the second part. Anybody have interest in watching it? I can almost guarantee you won't get some of the references though. Sorry for that.

In the ME3 tag system, the status of a "true love" romance with Tali is only attainable if you romanced her in ME2. This is the same for Garrus. As far as I know, the people who have the game right now are rather anti-Tali so I doubt they would have been able to achieve it.

What if romanced ashley in me1? I My save im importing i romanced ashley in me1 and tali in me2 and im planning to stick with tali i like her chracter more and want see her face if at so possible. So would that affect me seeing her face or not if there is such a part.

So long as you romance Tali in ME2, and continue to in ME3, you're fine.

I've heard it said that you can designate Tali and Garrus as "war assets" prior to the final battle, and that might spare them sharing the Normandy's fate. I take it that will undo any existing romance up to that point?

This is so aggravating. It's like the entire game is structured so that any and all LI's end up stranded or dead.

This is something I've been thinking about for a bit now. Do we really need to see Tali's face in ME3? Granted it would be nice but I really don't see it would do anything to really improve her character or anything else in the Mass Effect story. I think if anything it might cause more harm than good. Think about it. There are bound to be players who won't like it, because she'll look completely different than what they wanted and then this board will be filled with rage and trolls. I think not knowing what she looks like gives her more appeal than knowing. This is just my two cents, take it for what its worth Also whoever took that picture of Tali jumping is evil.

You know, I just realized something about these endings.

Bare with me: I think these endings are meant to be symbolic more than anything. I mean, you see Joker(possibly EDI alongside him), Shepard's BFF, and Shepard's LI (if s/he had one) walk out of the Normandy, and witness a beautiful planet that they landed on. I believe that that planet is meant to symbolize that their efforts and sacrifices were worth it because now the galaxy is at peace for the Reaper war is over. I don't think the writers ever meant to ****** us off by permanently separating our favorite characters from Shepard. Now, does it make total amount of sense for them to do that? Not really, but then again, this whole series would be very different if it meant to make complete sense.

Now, I hope you guys look at this and take note of it when you decide to not be so gloomy and emo about the "grimdark" endings(which most aren't even dark. Only the "bad" Destroy ending is dark because there's nothing left.)

Yes, very artsy - but if they expected us not to think it through to its logical conclusion (Forever Lost/starvation/inbreeding), they were dead wrong. The ending where Shepard survives simply adds further insult (Forever Alone).

Logic? Did you miss the ending boss fight of ME2? Or the whole unncessary joing with Cerberus plot line? Logic is pretty inconsistent in this series. Not enough(for me) to dislike it, but it gets annoying after a while.

all i know is tali is right, soon as i got that ship, id have went out in the nearest space dock and chiseled that Cerberus logo off... i haven't seen shepard playing with fire, though maybe jack being a romance option is the clue that he has some mental condition that causes him to shoot his foot on occasion.

i heard if the collector base is saved you see Cerberus ships.. 3? i think, going threw the omega4, don't know how, you need a reaper IFF, boom shot bioware down.

mass effect is the universe, i just like the idea, its good sci-fi you know? doesnt matter that drew went Swiss with the plot line. mmm cheese. hell, i'll even forgive them for not showing tali's face in me2, even though it made me throw my controller for the first time in forever.
