Tali Poll GOGOGO!!!
Tali needs our help, Shes 300 or so votes behind Brokarian. While Garrus will always be our designated Bro, Tali is still our favourite Quarian on the Bioware.
I know some of you out there are conflicted over which of team dextro you want to win. And I understand that, Tali and Brokarian have been with us since Saren first spectreblocked at the Council. If you feel like voting for Garrus go ahead. But remember this. We can never EVER let Liara push Tali from that no2 spot.

Did you play ME1? And you are still missing the point. Many unexpected things happen in ME.Saphra Deden wrote...
No, there really isn't any reason to assume the Reaper's motivations are beyond our comprehension. They are not gods.

That's really the cruelest part - and they did it with all of the love interests. They bait you with a happy ending. They let you establish that these people expect to have a future together, then in the last ten minutes it's all taken away for no real reason. And as best I can tell, it's structured this way. You can't designate your LI's as "war assets" who won't be whisked away with the Normandy at the end without (to the best of my knowledge) breaking off the relationship.Templar Fox wrote...

This has all been discussed already. The epilogue shows a grandfather and grandson still stuck on that same planet talking about "The Shepard" and hypothetically returning to space one day.PseudoEthnic wrote...
Did my post mean nothing?! There's nothing in the ending that indicates that the Normandy is stranded forever on the planet. That's the fandom's mass hysteria talking, not the game.
That would take a while.

Hysteria (of this kind at least
When you leave an ending so open... it's not definite, like BW promised and people can say anything. In this case, the first thoughts for many were starvation/inbreeding/forever alone.

It's fine if a fan wants a bleak ending for their headcanon story because the ME3 ending is so open/vague that it can fit, but to spout it out as fact like the majority in this forum is ridiculous.Ghost Rider LSOV wrote...

Hysteria (of this kind at least) would not exist if the epilogue was "your actions did this and that".

True. Stating something as inbreeding/starvation as fact is the most pessimistic.
But on the other hand, how can we be optimistic that the Normandy and its crew can be saved?
And I read in the endings topic that the "teleport bug" is not a bug afterall?

Based on the evidence it is the most likely of circumstances.

Look in the Clan Zorah group, and we have a few different plausible theories on not only how the Normandy crew is picked up, but also how the galaxy begins to rebuild and reuntie through new rebuilt mass relays.Ghost Rider LSOV wrote...

Could you please direct me to the topic which talks about it please? No need for an exact page, I'll find it myself, but Clan Zorah has many topics and I'm not sure which one is the right one.

There is a fair difference between plausible and probable or even practical. But I'll leave it there for the night. Off to bed.

Thanks! Will go check.
If there has to be headcanon, it's good to find some optimistic one.

What you call pessimism I call realism.
Of-course it isn't impossible that Tali and Garrus would find a way to survive such as by escaping the colony or finding a source of food, but there is no evidence for it.
The simplest prediction is that they die from starvation.
