All the people who say that Tali, and by extension all Quarians, look too human have it all backwards.

I understand now! The ending is a lie! They all got drunk and imagined it.
Also, this video confirms it. I will never start the final mission until Bioware adds a better ending. We must spread this need! My signature is a start!

Oh good, I thought I would have to be the one to post that.

But really, what the hell Bioware? You supposedly agonize over her face for so long and then just take the cheap way out by editing an existing picture.

Do you by any chance know if there is any difference with the ultimate paragon ending? I've heard that if you have at least 4000 war resources Shepard survives.

What level of Galaxy readiness is that? What sorcery is this? And why does it matter if your crew is still stranded on some god forsaken planet?

I don't think it's a huge deal overall, because Shepard is modeled after a RL Norwegian male model, Miranda is a clone of Yvonne Strahovski, and TIM is just a young version of irl Martin Sheen inside the game.

Still, it would've been nice to actually see this modeled rather than be handled as a lazy photoshop.

There's a difference between using a facial scan and doing a bad photoshop job.

I have to say I am pretty hurt by the way Bioware treated the reveal of Tali's face. For those of you who haven’t seen it here is another link.

After all that time playing a game and the work Bioware put in over years for them to just deal with it in this manner feels like an insult to tali fans to me. I am sure people will argue that "at least they showed something" but I am a teacher and if my students copied their homework from Wikipedia I would fail them and this is what Bioware did. Either show it or don’t this is a half way between and it seems almost like Bioware were afraid to make the decision one way or the other.

Huge disappointment and one of many I have received from Bioware recently.

I don't see what the problem is. Default Shep is modeled after a guy who has many a readily-available picture on the web. Half the characters in this are just facial takeoffs of real people. Actually, in Tali's case it is less severe than normal in the sense that we don't know who that person is. She's a facial match and that's clearly what BW felt appropriate, but she's a total mystery by and large.

For me though that is a completely different situation. You are talking about the "default" Shepard which you can change. None of my Shepards look like that one for example. But when you think of all the other alien characters that had huge amounts of work put in to make them realistic and not being facial takes of generic people and compare that to Tali whose face is set and a copy. Combine this with not seeing the faces of any of the other quarians ever and it’s a huge shame especially when you consider that this is the last game in the trilogy and it seems rather insulting to a character people have enjoyed for many years.
I know Bioware said that they knew that they would upset one half of the audience whatever their decision was. Some people wanted to see her face others didn’t but I really can’t understand why they choose to upset both groups by doing neither of those things.
