Well folks, just finished the Rannoch missions... and seen Tali's face for myself in-game, so I'm officially back on the forums. 

EDIT: Additional thoughts:
- really, REALLY loved the flirting banter between Shepard and Tali on the missions, definitely showed off their relationship very well (and it was admitedly hilarious listening to Garrus stuck in the middle, forced to listen to it all  )

- The "I love you/Keelah se'lai" exchange? Just as perfect as what I pictured in my head when I first read the lines in the leaked script 

- her face... I can see why a lot of people might be put off by it looking pretty human (and I guess copying an existing photo for her portrait is kinda lazy, though BW has done it before), but honestly? I'm perfectly ok with how she looks - it was always more of her personality and character that mattered to me, not what was under that visor.
That said, damn if she's not a gorgeous little cutie.

Anyways, popping in. I think I am almost done with the game. Not a lot of Tali duologue so far (more to come?) but I liked her face.

Is it just me, or does Female Nurse conversing with Male Nurse in the Presidium Commons sound like Tali, but without the accent and the quarian flange?

I swear, when I first heard the banter between those two, I was like "TALI WHO WHAR?"  and found it was those two.

Mark Meer did a lot of volus characters on top of ManShep...  I guess they had other major VAs do minor bits as well.

Agreed.
I liked how it all progressed and what she was saying about Shepard and when they were talking together. Nerdgasm.
I didn't know when the peace option would come, so I got really scared towards the end, that I made the wrong choice and was about to Alt-F4, but fortunately everything was fine.

Yeah, seems so. Tactus (the Turrian that Dr. Chakwas sends you to talk with) sounds... completely like Garrus.

I guess I share the consensus here on her face... I like it and think she's gorgeous but... really, a stock photo Bioware? That's it? LAZY.

What really sells me on Tali is the interactions with her throughout the game, the VAs really nail it.

The picture is just icing on an already delicious Quarian cake.

Let me say that, Tali fans who romanced her will adore and HATE ME 3. They did a bangup job of a romance, with plenty of quotable things that really made you realize Tali loves Shepard a crap load, but the endings will make many people pissed off because of this.

I got spoiled on the endings. I'm still planning on doing my Talimance import after I'm done with Ashleymance.

Sorry, but this is Mass Effect, not Star Wars. If anything, it makes far more sense, and is far more of an intelligent ending then what a lot of people /want/. Mass Effect is comparable to Battlestar Galactica, not to Star Wars in that front. Not liking the endings because you can't control every fine detail of them seems... silly Plus, while I'm sure it gives "closure" from my understanding, it gives enough open threads that if you wanna say XYZ happens, then sure, maybe XYZ happens in your canon.

But please, enough with endingrage. This is the end of a brilliant saga, OF COURSE the end is gonna make people disappointed. No great series will ever have an ending where people don't rage out.

Couldn't agree more.

I have yet to play this yet, but I'm getting there.

I have two thing, disappointment and enthusiasm - I'm still not sure which one will win out in the end. If the supposed endings are to be believed, then I'm not sure...

The link above looks great, and it seems like BioWare did a great job with the VOs again, with much credit to Sroka on Tali's voice.

Still, I wonder how the culmination of the romances will be seen when coupled with the endings... Seems quite a few people are not happy.

There is an ending where Shepard can live. This also points to a high chance of a post game DLC which will most likely involve rescuing the Normandy crew. It would also be interesting if they managed to reverse-engineer mass relays. If not, then may anonymous send Bioware to the fiery pits of internet hell.

Yeah, if they made that, I'd find the endings acceptable. Not good per se (I have LOTS of problems with the ending), but enough that it wouldn't be series-ruining. Which it is right now for me.

Yeah. I thought all of the games were simply amazing, but the endings ruined them for me. Shepard needs a happy ending with his LI. He needs to build that house for Tali.

Not a bug, a "feature."

That said, a CZ member put together a video that a savvy person might... say, rename to replace the Liara vid in the game files.  And then you wouldn't have to look at Liara's blue mug.

I very much enjoyed all the Rannoch missions (and punching a certain admiral) tho heh.

The ending is dark, but expected.

To me the time they shared together was worth it. Tali will never forget Shepard, wherever he is...
