I do hope they do a little adjustment to her appearance for ME3, her suit now is the best, but little tweeks like the mod suits would be nice.

From the clip of tali in ME3 the suit looks identical or really close hope your dlc companion armor changes will be able to transfer to ME3 because I like both tali and grunts armor dlc

I am sure that Tali is a place holder. They said they changed her looks recently.

Allegedly, there is audio on the disk of ME1 of Tali being a LI (I saw it on one of these forums a few days ago). I guess it was taken out for balancing reasons, i.e. ManShep would have had three people available to him as LI options, while (I believe) there was only two for FemShep. Alternatively, maybe Bioware tried to keep LI's only for near human-human relations (Liara being very close to human), and thought that having romance options for distinctly 'alien' races would have been too much for players at that time. But since ME1's release, players don't seemed to have had a problem with LI's being 'alien' (Garrus seems to be doing well out of it). In one sense, it hasn't done Tali any harm, and may have worked in her favour!

Err, crikey, I wish I could remember   (thanks to S.A.K. for confirming it!). However, you might like to listen to this. This is all the ME2 sound dialogue files for Tali and Femshep, put into order. If you go to approx 7:50 and listen to at least 8:30, there is dialogue where Femshep is talking to Tali as a LI (I guess the original intention was that Tali could be romanced by ManShep and Femshep!).



Edit: As for ME1, does anyone else have any more information on Tali being a LI in ME1?

Yeah, I think something similar happened with Garrus. I remember (I think it was Casey) who said something like (I am paraphrasing) "...well if people want to romance a 'duck' type alien, then we can do that...". It was in one of the developer interviews from a while back, when he was discussing romance options in ME2 (I wish I had a better memory!!).

Ah mkay, I'll try that later. Also, here some food for thought (or not if the topic has been covered.) The lift support suit is important, high priority. If it ever gets damaged it needs to be tended to. Why is Tali a shotgunner? Seems to be backwards there BW. Someone who can't take fire is up close and personal with them.

Quarians receive close quarters combat training, hence the shotgun. Makes sense to me with them having to either bombard something from orbit or go in close to erase a target.
