Alright, I just finished the game. I'd have to agree with the past several posts, the Tali romance dialogue was priceless and I'd be really hard-pressed to find a favorite line/situation. Overall, I'd say the whole situation revolving around Rannoch. I honestly don't mind the picture either, even if it would have been nicer as a 3d model. "Too human" is the obvious complaint from a lot of people, but it's pretty damn close to what I expected from seeing the outline inside the visor since the first game. I was (pleasantly) not surprised.

Now the ending... I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit choked up. This strange substance even leaked out of me from some of my facial orifices. I still have yet to figure out what that was... A sad ending, yes, but at least my Shepard went out like a boss. The second mystery I'm still trying to figure out is how Garrus and Tali ended up back on the Normandy, when clearly they were with me when I got blown up in the final charge. All in all, I was pleased with the direction they took.

Some people say because of the fate of the crew, you should leave Tali on Rannoch if you truly care about her. I say nay. Keeping her psych profile in mind from what happens if you side with the Geth, I'd say it's pretty likely that if she were stranded for good on some rock with no Shep and no way out, she'd do a dry-land swan dive in short order. No death-by-starvation problems there. At least that way she and Shep can be back together in Sovengarde where they can shoot reapers in glorious eternal combat and drink beer from husk-skulls at the end of each day.

EDIT: But ok, the sappy side of me does want some form or continuation for the plot in a decidedly happier direction. If that implied DLC rumor from that other post is true, I wouldn't mind forking over another chunk of cash for it.

I'd totally play Harvest Moon: Rannoch Edition! Hahaha.

Serious business you could easily do a Tali/Shep game complete with story and action, the conflict focusing on their relationship in the first place, the reaction of Quarian society, and then because it's a ME game and we need to kill some **** Rannoch having some issues with pirates/mercs/assorted evil trying to take advantage of the young reborn homeworld, with the Quarian/Geth fleets severely weakened after the final battle around Earth.

It'd be awesome to deal with the reaction of the Quarians.. As well as possibly the reaction from other races.. Such as humans or Turians.. As Quarians aren't held in very high regard.  I can see it from the other species. "REally? You could probably have any woman in the galaxy and you're with a /quarian/?" Poor Tali.

I love Tali but the only thing that kept going through my head in ME3 is Shepard sleeps with Tali and dreams about a little boy. :)

I gave her the N7 Shotgun and Pistol, she nails headshots with that shotgun from a mile away its amazing.

Also my favorite part was the "I love you" before the Reaper fight on Rannoch, but the Geth Dreadnaught flirting had me laughing through the entire mission... especially when Garrus said "I was there when you two had your thing, now get a room and work things out already." That alone almost made me die from laughter XD

I'm kinda jelly, I couldn't find a N7 edition ME3 for all the fun N7 grade toys.

I vote we all start calling straws... whatever technical term Tali was using for them, I'm suddenly spacing for some reason. Import tubing? something like that?

Yep, trust me I was just as surprised... gamestop calls, oh hey so you have the regular edition preorder, you want the N7? My reaction Posted Image This was 6 hours before  midnight on the 6th.

Pretty much everything that you said, Rannoch, Drunk Tali, ahh **** just the entire romance in Mass Effect 3 with her was amazing.

I'll pay too and about both of them inside normandy. maybe after shepard went into the beam, some suvivors could rescue them and in a shuttle just took them back to normandy, just an idea.

I have two solutions to that make the "Rescue" DLC listed in the above post possible, all of it is plausible with the information we have, and makes Bioware some of the most evil trolls of all time.

Solution one:
The indoc theory's correct, your two squaddies drag your extra crispy body out of the kill zone and get evac'd by normandy with as many of the team as they can grab and Joker hauls ass towards a support point a jump or two away that has hospital ships and the like. (can't take those into a kill zone, standard military doctrine) meanwhile Anderson makes the beam, and opens the Citadel, firing the Crucible

Or

Solution two:
the ending did happen as it happened, and the Citadel got chunked, with the SHEER amount of energy being released it's not implausible to kick a hunk of space station (which are built with emergency pressure doors if we recall Tali's suit design lesson) along at ME speeds, assuming it works like electricity that energy would follow the path of least resistance which would probably be along and with the mass relay so there's actually a chance a set of debris complete with Shep would get kicked out into the same general area as the Normandy. It's a billion to one chance, but Shep handles billion to one odds before he gets out of bed every morning,

Sony Vegas 9 or higher. It has good overlay, fx, transitions and pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it.

Just made peace with the Geth and the Quarians. What pisses me off, is that Bioware had a perfect opportunity to show her face when she took off her mask... again, and instead they give you a lazy photoshop only if she dies.

If you talk to her right after the mission and you're in a relationship with her, there's some flirty dialogue and she says "I left something for you in your cabin~" and it's aforementioned photo. Instead of a skimpy piece of quarian lingerie like we were all obviously hoping for lolol

Why would Shepard need the lingerie?

But yes it comes right after the mission. :)

I thought it was sweet.

Am I the only one that was hoping to not find her in Engeneering and instead find her actually in shep's cabin after Rannoch?  I mean.. a nice sweet 'date' dinner, picture giving and a Fade to Black scene would've been nice too. But hey.. It was sweet either way.

Yeah be nice if she was actually upstairs waiting for Shep and then that conversation ensues "I got you something"

@Naltair in the mating rituals of the one confirmed sapient species the female will occasionally leave some of her undergarments for the male to find, this is generally regarded as enticing to the male and is a signal that female wishes to mate sometime in the near future.

Oh damn no wonder I am a virgin I keep sending the underwear back :(

Anyways...

Yeah that would have been interesting but eh, I just really liked how well Shepard and Tali play off each other.

I thought it was funny that the only nips seen in the romance culmination are Shep's.

If these rumors of indoctrination/hallucination are true, I believe this is going to be a "well played, Bioware" moment. I like the theory, and it actually brings some sense to a lot of questions I had over the ending sequence. Can't remember if my ending had the breathing scene though, I was in a bit of a rush to get out of the house (worst timing ever, especially when you can't save for the last 30 min or so).

Literately, I might add.  Though I suppose its not as lethal as one might believe...it still is painful.

Plus...did Shepard really do more than just slip in bed with Tali while wearing only his boxers?  It makes me wonder...well, I think only the AO version of the game would be able to tell us that, now wouldn't it?  No matter.

I wonder what Tali thought when she saw shepard stripped down for the first time...hopefully she got a feel for him without some nervous system app telling her nerves what it 'should' feel like.

This.

And seeing the other character's reactions to it was awesome and (almost always) hilarious.

I'd love to see a romance DLC, but can't see it happening (too many options). On the other hand no reason there couldn't be a Tali-centric DLC that plays to the romance angle (providing she's alive and romanced). Would probably suck for people that saw her die, but then if you let someone like that die and go "I'm fine with that", well you deserve a bad DLC!

For me one of the downsides of ME3 was waiting so long to get Tali back (part of that was me making sure my reputation was safely high enough to not have to kill all the Geth to save her, because I couldn't resist reading some spoilers on her). The interactions with her are so good, I just want more. Although, if I had her and Garrus from the start it's possible I'd never take anyone else on a mission.

I laughed quite a bit when Joker said, "Have you seen Tali's suit? I don't have the hips to carry something like that!"
