Like turians, the quarians are a dextro-protein species of reverse chirality from humans and asari. The food of levo-protein races such as humans or asari is at best inedible and at worst poisonous, most likely triggering a dangerous allergic reaction.

As far as I know, only asari can have cross-species offspring. Then again, asari can only have asari children, regardless of the spouse. Best bet for cross-species relationships involving children would be adoption.

Now that I think about it, was it ever possible that you could see Tali dancing at the bar in the citidel during ME3?  I thought there may have been a scene but I could be wrong...I've never seen a quarian dance before, and if there's one I wanna dance with, well...

Well in this case disgusting is slightly accurate in the microbiological sense, we're crawling with all sorts of weird ****.

It's a lot more complex than that. Even assuming that quarians have something similar to human genitalia.

There is no good ending the same thing happens every time. Your crew gets stranded on a random planet and you die. Unless you have  5k then you live but only if you blow up the citadel.

The only real difference with military strength is that when you get blown up by Harbinger then wake, or whatever you want to call it, two things can happen.

1. If you're under 2000, the squad members you brought for the final mission will die.

2. If you're over 2000, it will be some random Hammer guys.

At least I think that's the magic number for that.

Well considering Shep and Tali have done the nasty at least twice and Tali enjoyed it so much that intense illness was "worth it" there's gotta be something compatable down there to slap together.

Doubt it.  The proteins contained in the fluid of a opposite acid being will most likely tear someone from the inside out like glass if it somehow made contact in their body, either through wounds or holes.  Though I could be wrong, I mean after all, surely a microscopic bit of slavia from Shepard must have entered into Tali's mouth when they kissed, and she survived with no know forms of oral injuries.

It's a nice thought, believe me I'm sure a romanced Shepard + Tali would love to give into their natural urges and have at thee, but its not likely to happen without serious consequences.

This has been discussed (shudder) before many times. The 'scientific' side aired that nothing would happen because bodies would simply ignore incompatible proteins. You'll have to talk with thunder if you want more..information...

But what if you rewrote the DNA at the end, then everybodys got the same DNA. Maybe whatever survivng DNA you left in Tali's womb  inpregnated her when she got stranded on the planet.

There is no good ending the same thing happens every time. Your crew gets stranded on a random planet and you die. Unless you have  5k then you live but only if you blow up the citadel.

You should only need 5k if you can't manage to "take care of" TIM the right way. Then it's 4k. There is a difference in endings, a subtle scene with "someone" making agonal gasps under a pile of rubble that has no place on the citadel. That's your biggest hint, discounting the few other things.
