I actually had to start an NG+ play through, enemy of the endings I might be but I did have a "all the way faithful" Liara run just for the hell of it and the game up till the last 10 minutes is about as perfect as I could possibly ask for. I had to do the NG+ playthrough because courting Liara on my other Shepherd is just painful lol a little voice in my head bounces along "Tali's sooooo much better"

Yeah, I'm working through both my Liara-romanced FemShep and my loyal-to-Ashley MaleShep at the moment..... Liara's isn't too bad, but the thing that bugs the hell out of me is that they seem to completely ignore or forget about the events of the Shadow Broker DLC (it's like they haven't been together since the end of ME1 and Liara totally forgot my FemShep's recommitment to her up in Shepard's cabin).


I still VASTLY prefer the Tali/Shepard romance by a wide margin..... that relationship just feels so real and organic and full of love and affection to me. 

Yeah I noticed the LotSB data being oddly missing, kinda a Deja Vu moment "Didn't we have this conversation before Liara?"

Also I'd totally give up this universe for ME's I wouldn't fight Shep for Tali though, the dude kills reapers on foot, I'm JUST a Marine lol

I like me, I really do, and I've had/have a good life. However, seeing the world stagnating and crumbling into a cesspool like it is depresses me. I love scifi and the possibilities of exploration and progress it suggests, but then I see our own space program getting sidelined and forgotten. I may be comfortable right now, but I do miss the adrenaline of my former life. I'd probably trade places with Shepard in a second. The Mass Effect universe may have some serious problems and bleak prospects of extinction, but everything else makes it worth it to me. Now, would I do the same as my Shepard has in regards to Tali? That's up for debate. In reality, I'd probably be more conservative in that respect (cross-species relationships).

Friends? Yes. Lovers? I'd have to think about that one a bit more. It really depends on the context.

Its ok. It'll get rid of much of the scarring. Better than plastic surgery.

Hi guys,

I don't want to discuss the ending and I don't know if something similar was already posted here so I'm going ahead. Please tell me what you think if this.

I had always imagined that the end would be that Shepard is the catalyst and could be able to sacrifice himself for the good of the galaxy.

And if you romanced Tali you would see her without a helmet on her planet giving you the last honor for that you'll be together, side by side for the rest of time.

And then she says with sorrow "I'm sorry Shepard" *shedding a tear*

That would have been to me a sad but still beautiful ending. Of course with the assumption that you brought peace to Rannoch.

I gave this a lot of thought and decided that this is not essentially true.

While it will be a lot harder to maintain a relationship with a human than a turian, for her, Shepard is the avatar of love. I know it will be difficult to not be able to eat the same food, not being able to have kids, but.. hothouses and adoption centers can help

While Garrus was there all along, it was Shepard who saved her, defended her on her judgement and got her world back. It wouldn't be the same thing.
